Unfortunately, it seems Alain's entreaties fell on deaf ears - as she moves closer, the hollow attacks!

- Enemy Phase -

The hollow lumbers forward, magic prepared and ready to strike - when something drops from the cave roof above.

It is vaguely lizardlike, with a stubby, blunt snout, and oversized claws on each of its legs. Points of yellow heat pulses beneath crimson scales and as two baleful orbs that glare at the undead party.

The hollow turns, and raises a hand to cast a spell when the great jaws close on it and shake.

The two halves of the hollow scatter in different directions.

The Sentry Beast roars, a long and sustained bellow, flame and ash leaking out its jaws. It snorts, and the incandescent eyes settle on Alain, the nearest target.

- Ally phase -

The hooded figure bows its heads and speaks. The voice reverbs in the mind of each of the party.

"Warriors. Dost you seek your salvation in the Land of True Kings? Come with haste! The loyal Sentry holds its post; it shall not follow thee beyond this cave."

Ariston considered his rusted axe.

"I don't think we can; it's quite monstrous. We have neither the equipment nor the manpower. That's why we need to get the civilians out safe."

"Did you hear that, everyone? Get to safety from that monster, or I'll do things to you worse than it ever could!"
