Damon strides up to the mushroom hollow. Something gleams in the mushrooms behind it as it growls at him, spores puffing out its mouth. Bloated blue mushrooms, one of them glowing sickly, stud its flesh, and sprout from gaps in its armour.

Code: (Damon vs Mushroom Hollow) [Select]
Hit: 101-9=92
Roll: 73, hit
Crit: 13-1=12
Roll: 99
Dam: 10-5 = 5
Disarm: 9
Roll: 17

Mushroom hollow retaliates!
Hit: 81-12=69
Roll: 46, hit
Crit: Impossible!

The withered creature is bizarrely strong, and deals a heavy blow in retaliation. As Damon strikes it, a cloud of choking spores bursts from the wound, leaving him coughing.

Alain was quite focused on the ground to not be able to notice Damon's battle.

"I wonder if that really is a trap or some kind of markings, and if it works on them? There's a path around here, everyone. I'll check this one."

She strode up just next to the subtly visible lining and brandished her knives in heckling the nearest enemy--more making fun of their lack of honor and all.
