Ariston paused in the act of putting his helmet back on, holding it at the level of his waist.

"I do not think that is a good idea. While I appreciate your willingness to put yourself in danger for the sake of the rest of us, I'm sure it would be better for us to stay together."

He looked at his helmet, then put it on.

"Stay behind me in case of an ambush; I can weather it better."

And with that, he started his march into the long, dark tunnel out of Fort Golsky...

The corridor seems to stretch on forever, with only low-burning sconces in the walls lighting the way. The air becomes cold and still, and any conversation hangs in the air like smoke. Finally, a warm breeze trails eathereal fingers across the party, and the brickwork begins to give way to rough cave walls.

Finally, the party comes to a halt - the path collapses into a deep, deep chasm, and just ahead the light of the sun pours in through a cave exit.

A robed figure sits in front of a extinguished bonfire, facing away from the party.

"There's someone on the other side who I am unsure has noticed us. Should we greet them? They look amicable."

She then flings her knives to the wall opposite (R-11)

"Also, I detect two areas within our hallway that speak to other paths."

She was unaware of the people to the west.
