((I don't think heating something that is right above us to a ridiculous degree is very smart. Worst case scenario we become +metal statues+. This is a finely crafted metal statue. It is encrusted with sharkmist and HMRC. On the item is an image of HMRC and Pancaek. Pancaek is laughing. The HMRC is melting. The artwork relates to the encasing of the HMRC in metal by Pancaek during the Mission of Many People.))

You do those random things cats do when being petted - arch your back, walk under his hand and then away, stopping to look back, flopping on your side occasionally. Head bumping his shin. A neighbor waves at him and calls out a greeting, then moves on with a basket full of laundry, heading toward the shore.

The alchemist is with you and Durmokh in the shrine. Clunkers left you to guard him, so if he wanders off ... also, the homunculus corpse is with you. So there are three Omegas (more or less) and one alchemist, and one priest in the shrine.

"Ah ... okay. Do you know where the others are? how many of you are there?"

When you turn toward him, you discover three men, all armed and nervous. they each take an involuntary step backward. the spokesman swallows and continues, a look of perplexion on his face: "Dressing? My little girl wears dresses, but my wife usually dresses her, not me."

Clunkers will stay still like only a construct can, making sure not to make any sudden moves. These guys look nervous as hell, better play the part of the good little robot.

You say this, standing over the corpse of one of your companions. "Eight? Well, if the three of you would follow me then?" He makes as to go, indicating that you, Durmokh (who will autofollow since he is inactive) and the alchemist should come along. "We'll let the other teams worry about the other five for now. Why would they wander off? don't they have a job to do?"

A farmer comes by, ignores you, and sits heavily next to the chief. or head, or whatever his name is. They start talking farm related issues for a bit. from the sound of it, the farmer came into town to pick up some ironwork for various bits around his place, and the two men have known each other for quite some time.
