Well, between the dancing, drinking, and standing around nervously staring at the giant bug and the troll in the corner, everyone is about out of fight left. The crowds are noticeably thinner, the bitter smell of vomitus lingers in the air, and the night fades away. Two more nights of this and the festival will end.

One last round of fiddling, then get a drink. Have they got any liqueurs in here? Always enjoyed those in Munchkinland.
You fiddle a bit, collect your grand total of 52 coppers from the evening, and head to the bar. It takes a few minutes to explain your desire to the barman, who stares balefully at you for a moment before pulling out a strong alcoholic drink, pouring a glass, dropping three grapes into it, and charging you eight coppers.that leaves you 44 coppers from your fiddling.

If Dar'yajira detects a lull in the insanity outside his hole, he'll use the opportunity to sneak inside the inn.  Otherwise, he'll just wait where he is.
every time Dar thinks he sees his chance to sneak away, some new idiocy happens. At least the hole is relatively dry.


Mission Status:
So, basically, you all survived the night and nothing burned down. Win for team Omega! The festival lasts two more nights, and we can push through them quicker if you like. Expect bar fights, crowd control in the courtyard, and fighting off the ridiculously violent crowds outside the inn. I can do  night in three rolls, at this point: one for the bar, one for the courtyard, and one for outside. If we go quickstyle, next turn I'll roll all three. Whichever roll goes bad, that's an area of trouble. all three could go bad, and you could have trouble in all three locations simultaneously, or none could go bad, and you could have a pretty humdrum night of beating drunks and yelling at hookers. Or we can go long style, and I'll roll after each of your actions for the events of the night.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Good, good. Alright. Night one ends, The innkeeper is rather pleased with your successes and grants you semi reasonable sleeping accomodations and food. Hardly any lice at all.

Next day, you spend the early part of the day tossing drunks and others who have spent all their coin into the alley, adding fresh boards to damaged parts of the wall, and cleaning up vomit. Lovely. Hey, Fiddler, if you want, now's your chance to spend that copper on some blue dye for your poncho. We'll retcon it in if you decide to do so.

Alright, late afternoon: Inside the inn itself, things go fairly well. People are more or less behaved. there aren't even any overly large beings looking for trouble. Outside is a little rougher though. People push inside in large numbers before you manage to get the gate closed, and for some reason, the people outside the gate are not taking kindly to being left out. There is some kind of coordinated effort to dislodge the gate from the wall. the gate is locked, but you aren't sure it will hold all night. Actually, you are pretty sure that it will fall before dawn. And inside the courtyard is worse. people are fighting, someone has managed to throw a beer barrel through a window, and an actual armed battle breaks out between two gangs.

"Attention.  The [inn name] does not guarantee your bodily safety should you persist in trying to fit too many people inside.  Please form an orderly queue and you will be admitted as people leave or are removed.  We appreciate your enthusiasm, but request that you bear with us as we deal with this and other issues.  Such as the gang warfare you seem so intent in intruding upon.  Again, we regret our limited capacity, but we cannot fit all of you in and it would not be very fun at all."

Break out the murder venom, not the pain venom, the fast and messy murder venom.

Then go murder people who arent behaving.
ignore the ones currently killing each other en masse for now, they are making my job easier.

If I'm allowed to retroactively cast combat buffs, do so, focusing on strength and toughness agility.  If the buffs aren't particularly strong ((roll=<4)), or if I can't retroactively cast them, watch from the roof while enhancing the buffs.


Assuming my buffs succeeded, follow the giant bug outside, preferably stealthily and ideally while on top of a wall.  Watch over the giant bug, and if anyone attacks it, or looks like they're about to attack it, intercept and disable/kill them.

You start broadcasting a message of restraint, decibels at max. This has the effect of numerous people near you clutching their ears, and the tension on the door abates a bit. It attracts their attention your way, too, and not in a pleasant way.

Break out the murder venom, not the pain venom, the fast and messy murder venom.

Okay, so I assume you mean the ones outside the wall then. Murder venom is a go. You punctuate the early part of the Eye's speech with spurts of angry hate throgh the slats of the wall. You re rewarded with several screeches of agony, which are then quickly drowned out by the high pitched and voluminous squealing of your team mate, who seems intent on peace via sonic destruction. Unfortunately, this breaks your concentration, and you are forced to cover your sound receptors and hiss, like everyone else near the gates.

Since we're doing the night all in a go, I assume combat buffs and the like are prepared ahead of the trouble, or in immediate response, so it's all good. our first attempt to buff leaves you a little dizzy and slightly nauseous, so instead of entering the fray, you spend some time above, contemplating life, magic, and the foolishness of whoever thoguht this festival was a good idea. And also fish. fish are yummy. Boy, you could sure go for some fish right now. anyway, after the distraction, you manage to limber up quite nicely, gaining a sort of (sling) bullet-time sense, while your fur stands sharply on end in little spikes that flow along your back and legs like little razors, intermixed with other fur in scale formations.


so the three of you are focused on the enemy at the gate, in good Russian sniper movie fashion, leaving the rival gangs to stab each other and other drunks to their hearts wicked delights. let's see how things progress. Outside, the mobs have stopped trying to break into the inn itself, and are concentrated entirely on getting to you guys, especially the Eye and Cho. This doesn't mean they have stopped banging at the gates, just that they are targeting you instead of the inn. A confused chant is arising within the mob, giving the situation a surreal cast to it.

Inside, the gangs continue merrily stabbing away, and seem to have reduced their own numbers a fair amount. Most of the bystanders have managed to clear the area, so they are fighting in an open ring of sorts.
