I was thinking about putting together a simple (few mechanics and numbers) exploration game. The general theme is that you come the equivalent of pre-imperial Europe (but instead of Eurpoe a fictional land and with magic), and the equivalent of the New World has been discovered. As such you have joined a crew of explorers to venture to the new world, explore, study the wild life, study the magic, and generally search for treasure and adventure. The game will be enhanced with pictures from various artists (mostly gathered via pintrest). This game (at this point) has no predestined plot. I will narrate as we go and the players will decide their adventure. If you have any interest post a character sheet bellow.

Unlikely. You're explorers and there will likely be less than 10 of you. Plus this new world is much more dangerous than the Americas.

Physical Description: This tall man bears a bald head and mysterious glowing green eyes, a symbol of his power. Various sections of his skin are tattooed under his slightly tattered dark clothing. Often with him is a focus crystal he levitates around, one which he uses to channel his power through.
Background: Once a court mage for the Kingdom of Liebretierra, Rahak studied magic to benefit the kingdom; however, his interest in the magics of Liebretierra lost him as he read of the wonders of the new lands that were recently discovered. His curiosity yearning, Rahak took his leave from the Kingdom to study this new land. Riches and fame were only a side benefit.

Then I should mention that it's very vague reference to Hispania, and translates, in butchered Spanish, to Hareland. I envisioned it as a Spain equivalent, a monarchy with heavy faith in an evangelical organized religion, but do with it what you will.

Ina took great interest in scholar and in kind the scholar taught her literacy, writing, and scholarship. After her tutelage, Ina's teacher was able to get connections with an expedition to the New World.
