another decent one:

I always just found it peculiar that the police are always able to pin the crime on you 100 percent of the time. The fact that organized crime rings exist at all without being bombed to hell by the national guard is evidence enough that this is not strictly the case in reality.

You can do yours if you wish, I just want to keep this post alive - more DF art is always welcome and undoubtedly awesome (since those who are not good drawers are at least very intelligent and leave clever stuff to discover in their art).

Can you export it as a BMP, then use the BMP->PNG converter included with DF to get it to a postable size?

Irfanview can convert image formats as well as resize and do basic sharpening and adjustments.

It's free and a miniscule download. http://www.irfanview.com/

Awesome, so someone's trying the bow?

I bet the engravings are nasty to do. ;)

Ugh... I tried but it looks horrible... I guess Ill post it anyhow as soon as I get things working... which isn't too likely. (Dang it... my old computer had the proper programs...)

Heh, if anyone wants to try (If I ever get it up) they can do a improved version of my sketch... though that would be tough I guess...

Here it is inside the spoiler... Sorry I can't resize...

What do you think?

I got one.

It was a bauxite floodgate, remarkably enough. Menaced with spikes of cat leather, wood opal, and microcline. Encircled with bands of carp bone. Hanging rings of cave spider silk. What tops it off is the image.

"On the item is an image of a dwarf and a carp in wood opal. The carp is striking down the dwarf."

Shame that it was used for magma, but still, I'd like a sketch.

Nice sketch there Neonivek, not too beautiful, but then again it's a dwarf-made bow.

Aww, Moogie came back for a while and then disappeared again.

Ah well. I'd draw an artifact, but I'm lazy. Also, this thread must not die!

Is a lie, pixels, in my day, etcetera.

This however is both real, and now in the hands of a master Swordsdwarf.
