Question! Is it possible to 'scavenge the field' to search for 'better weapons/shields', Haspen?[/b]

Maybe you can take 2 items from each dead unit and either the side s/he was in or the other one (as set by GM beforehand) can pick first. Or 2 random items from dead players, each for one team, are assigned to their side "storage" which can be used to supply players of that side.

Each time this question pops up the answer is always the same: no :V

The commanders of both sides screamed at their subordinates to move forth and fight properly. A chaotic melee ensued.

Alphanti rushed against Brother Ham and finally, after many tries, he scored a hit; the Demontongue slicing across the crossbowman's cheek, the dark magics of the sword causing even this small wound to start bleeding terribly. And it wasn't the end of woes for Brother Ham as right afterwards he was assaulted by Tallow Knight. And Tallow Knight too managed to hit the poor crossbowman with his hatchet - fortunately this time the strike hit a well-protected side, and the chainmail absorbed the force of the impact. Having survived - for now - Brother Ham stepped awya to reload his crossbow, worrying himself with the wound that bled.

In the meanwhile, Vurt-e have decided to attack Alphanti, but that was a terrible mistake. For Alphanti have turned on his heel and struck his sword into Vurt-e's abdomen, hitting him hard, the wound looking terrible even without all that blood leaking out of it!

Lance Corporal Mooning tried his chances against the second of Brother's Ham assailant, that being Tallow Knight. In a surge of sober adrenaline, Tallow Knight, just like Alphanti, managed to seize the initiative and dispense few blows at Mooning's face, but the hatchet proved once agian to be rather mediocre weapon, as the edge of this ax failed to penentrate Mooning's fine mail shirt.

Moments later, Bob the Brute pulled out the flask from behind his belt, popped the cork open and drank his tasty alcohol. He cast his flask away just in time to get attacked by Getting the Sorted! Alas, the wine clogged Bob's mind and despite his shield he couldn't properly defend himself. Getting the Sorted exploited that easily and drove his spear into Bob's gut, who reeled in pain as blood leaked out.

Then Brother Ham let out a 'HRK!' noise as his body lost too much blood, so he promptly keeled over and died!

Ulric reinforces Team A just like Baruth the Beard reinfoces Team B!
Team A continues to fight Offensively!
Team B continues to fight Offensively!
Team A is no longer at a disadvantage.

Does Player who DEFENDS can use that to cover his ally from one attack. mean player who picks DEFEND action can also pick one his ally and all attacks targetting this ally will be instead dealt on this defending player? Or does "cover" mean all such attacks against this ally are simply set to "defended, nothing happens"?

No, the defender intercepts one attack against his ally and then the ally is again unprotected. The defender continues to be in Defend stance (full shield bonus, no counter-attacks).

Getting the Sorted notes his attack didn't stop Bob the Brute who, yelling loudly out of alcohol dream, moved to Taskamaster Mu. Seeing also Vurt-E, while pale from blood loss, is still again serching for a target, Getting gets to Mu sooner and raises his shield to help his commander.

Getting the Sorted is defending, covering Taskmaster Mu from one attack.
