Yes, I'll make sure you're on the list.

Edit: There is no longer an anti-Celestial. I'll just keep the game running.

Spoiler: State of the Worlds (click to show/hide)

The shifting, tremulous absence that was the Maw perceived the worlds and saw that they were good.  Something had to change.

Event (The First Murder): Amongst the Nebulae, two Ylios of no noteworthy name danced freely and playfully amongst the star-stuff, never wanting for anything.  Then, amidst the plasma, there came the finest knot of energy that either had seen.  Each wanted it for themselves, and playful argument turned all too quickly to fighting, before one overcame the other.  Driven by rage and greed, it devoured both the knot of power and the form of its brother, and found itself renewed and strengthened with power, but wracked with hatred and guilt.  This Ylios, this Arion, found itself driven from that day forth by a need for more of the 'flesh' of its own kind, as would all of its kin.

[-4] The Arion: A subset of Ylios, strengthened by consuming Ylios but thereafter dependent upon them.  Powerful, but driven by plasmalust, guilt and hate.

Event (Moonfall): One of the star ships, the good ship Vendetta [-4, notable ship] crashes into the surface of one of the moons around the gas giant.  Most of the guardians within are killed, but the ship remains largely intact.

Event (The Madden Dance): Deep in the bowels of Hell, amongst the clans of the Prime Demons, a gentle humming begins upon the lips of those with a musical bent [-4, 'spell'].  It passes from lip to lip, then lifts hearts and voices and turns to song.  Then the dancing starts.  It never stops.  Demons dance, hour to hour, until they drop down dead from dancing, their legs still feebly kicking in their death throes.  The Madden Dance spreads, and despite the many efforts to stamp it out, it hides in the minds of carriers, often for years, before coming out as a simple humming of the lips.

The Writhing shifted as it always did, moving in ways seen, unseen, and somewhere not quite between the two. It found the current fulcrum of the universe, and pressed.

Event (The Hubris of Mercy): Aboard the star ship Merciful Doubt, an idea takes hold. This idea becomes calculations and experiments, which become arguments and failed attempts, which become a single smooth sphere, no larger than a marble to its gargantuan creators. Deep blue streaked with lighter blue, with the feel of stone... but which writhes out of the corner of one's eye, seems to end up in slightly different places than it was left, and otherwise refuses to remain just as it is.

As it was forged by things of light, so does it function as a thing of light: A lens to refract reality, aiding its masters in changing things from one quality to another, even where no clear path between the two exists. As it was forged as a thing not wholly of the world, so does it function as a thing not wholly of the world: Despite its creators' best efforts, they do not and cannot quite comprehend how or why the things it touches do not always come wholly and entirely back into the world and its rules.

The forging of the thing is acrimonious; none can agree to what extent it is a success and what extent it is a failure, or if and how it could have been made better. Agreeing on a name is right out, but [The Hubris of Mercy] begins to take root amongst the other ships. What can be agreed upon is the ship's new interest in experimenting with life and living things, whether using the orb or not.

Event (Pride of the Light): In a particular corner of existence, fleets of Guardians construct something never before seen. A massive spire of brilliant light, a wonder of the universe crafted out of stars, [The Pinnacle] is a monument to Guardian power and hubris. Sections begin to collapse under their own incredible weight, light visible across the universe devouring itself until only an ever-hungry darkness remains. The Guardians do what they can to repair and prevent these occurrences, but fail to take heed of the symbolism. They multiply rapidly, constructing ever more, ever greater ships to aid in their mad project.

Event (The Light That Devours Itself): Amongst the crowded fleets building and maintaining [The Pinnacle], the Feasting finally begins. Incandescent light turns to glossy obsidian as the cannibal Guardians consume each other. Their brethren are ill-prepared for such a catastrophe, and most are forced to simply flee as the greatest work in all creation is devoured and collapses in on itself. When the dust clears, the [Devourers] stand in mirrored contrast to their former brethren, and what remains of [The Pinnacle] is a twisting path of black holes and dark starstuff.

While possessing the pride and most of the abilities of their lighter brethren, the [Devourers] lack their overt purpose, and each vessel or faction must wander existence searching for its own meaning. They consume light to empower themselves, and rather than producing things from matter and light directly, do so by devouring matter and light for its power, then utilizing that in a quite similar process. They tend to consider themselves the enemy or rivals of the Guardians and vice versa, but this is not an innate purpose or racial imperative as with the Guardians' custodianship of the universe.

+Artifact: The Hubris of Mercy: This stone sphere allows its users to manipulate reality in strange ways. It sometimes has lingering side effects that cannot be fully explained in normal reality.
+Location: The Pinnacle [Ruined]: Once the greatest monument in all creation, a tower of brilliant stars on a massive scale. Now a mammoth string of black holes, dark starstuff, and roaming obsidian vessels.
+Race: Devourers: Onyx reflections of the enlightened Guardians, these creatures share their brethren's impressive abilities, but hunger for light and lack a unifying purpose. Instead, they wander the stars, doing as they will and seeking out meaning in the universe.

(-4)Piece: The survivors of the Vendetta are touched by the mind of the Admonished, changing them completely. From their remains a plethora of minor gods emerge, isolated on their moon prison. Weak wisps of power, these creatures were made to be chained as the Admonished was. They were limited, forced to take on an aspect of the world or succumb to insanity. Those who chose to live soon gained mastery over their sphere...and began to be influenced by it as well.

Event (The Division of Creation): After the initial shock of godhood, the surviving entities soon realised that many had chosen the same spheres. This would weaken the gods as well as cause infighting. Before too many needless fighting occurred, the gods decided to split the world into discrete units, in which only one god of any sphere could exist.

Event (The Champion of Drakav):
The god Drakav, steward of all fanged birds, impregnates one of his charges. A daughter is born, resulting in the first demigod. Though not as powerful as a god, her parentage gives her freedom from acting outside her father's sphere all the while possessing his intelligence.

Far, far, away...

Event: The Creation of Coldworld... The Chilled saw what was being made elsewhere... and was confused. Significantly. With that, he wove some of his power, traveled some far(in light-years, I say) distance from the other creations, and spun forth a planet, a rather large planet with no star. Some heat was required, though, so The Chilled set a magic crystal, called the Hot Heart within the center of the world, called Coldworld. Then it was a world of winter, covered in snow and ice seeded by the Chilled... over time, some life came forth, populating the world with winter-resistant life that needed no light to see.

+Piece: Coldworld: A rather large rocky planet with the Hot Heart in the core, providing heat enough to bring the world into livability(though still an eternal winter), currently populated with cold-resistant life forms that need no light to see.
+Piece: The Hot Heart: A magic crystal within the center of Coldworld, providing heat to the planet, enough to bring it to livability(but not much).

Event: Gate Genesis: But what would this world be without intelligent life? With that, The Chilled wrought a change into the fabric of the universe, so that magical gates of various sizes would appear at random times on random planets and suck life-forms into them, somewhat changing their biology and dropping them off on Coldworld.

+Piece: The Coldworld Gates: Magic gates that appear randomly on planets and suck lifeforms into them, changing their biology to be more cold-resistant in various ways and shooting them out onto Coldworld.

The Strong arrived to the universe to find that he sees nothing interesting and drifted to the sleep
