Star Skirmishes? I can imagine- except one side gets to make super weapons.
I still don't get how they managed to make it without, like, people noticing. And if they did, why the fuck nobody did a thing? I mean, what does the Republic do? Send their whole fleet to do stuff? No, they just donate few X-Wings to Resistance to make them fell important. IMO, proably nobody even thought Starkiller Base could work.

EDIT: Oh my god I love Snoke. Kylo Ren showing abilities introduced in Knights of the Old Republic and not seen much otherwise (stasis, mind domination) and Snoke being his teacher plus Snoke's appearance suggests that he's old as fuck. Maybe older than the Rule of Two; in legends, Bane based the rule of two on Revan. And Snoke is certainly no sith
Snoke's Plagueis. I bet you a beer.

That's exactly what I was thinking
He seems to be a bit... you know... overgrown?

We've only seen him as a hologram so far. Those don't necessarily need to be one-to-one. Also his whole schtick is biological manipulation.

Speaking of holograms, there's also the possibility that there is no Snoke in the conventional sense and he's actually a Sith holocron.

Oh wait, he's a hologram. How the fuck did I miss that one?
Also explains the whole "bring him/her to me" thing.

Nah, Snoke is actually just Kylo Ren's stand.  I would honestly pay all of my money and sacrifice my PC on a blood altar to see an edition of Star Wars where everyone uses stands/personas instead of the force.

Just watched it the second time w/ my daughter. It actually held up better the 2nd time around. The bits that annoyed me the first time around weren't so bad, or I could focus more on the non-verbal cues.

Saw it again last night and, yeah, I liked it better the second time.

I figure something like 18% chance that Snoke is inspired by Revan, much less actually literally Revan.

Considering Rakata Prime is canon, I half wonder if Snoke may be attempting to weaken both sides of the war to allow for a new Infinite Empire to rise.  Farfetched, but an interesting possibility.

Anyway, one minor gripe I had was the fact R2 has a full map of the galaxy, removing the unknown regions.  The map within BB-8 could have been the portion of the journey in the Unknown Regions, while R2's would have been the path into the Unknown Regions.

No it isn't, see. That Luke Skywalker you see in the film is actually Revan.

Haven't you been paying any attention? Rey is the daughter of Snoke and Luke.
