However teleportation and gates ended up spitting people in different locations from expected, specially if they were over long distances. The stars Ray uses to navigate by were off also. They were only a small ways past the boundary however, so things might be different further in.))

((The first one won't, it might against some types of magic that have trouble displacing thoughts or breaking focus, but Amee seems to basically just hurl romantic encouragement. The second one, well, I guess if a sentient sound is driving you crazy and forcing you to open a portal back to its home so it can leave, it might take the brunt of the spell instead? ))
