"I'd say it's more because they're lazy myself. It's too much effort for them to go get it from Special Reserves unless you really need it." Sens shrugs and admits, "I wouldn't know. This is mostly second-hand information. But I'd bet that it's mostly correct."

"In that case, which members of staff oversee the canoeing? They'd probably have accurate maps of the rivers and hopefully the paths near them. Do you know when the last time people went missing was? They must've tried searching for them, so we might get a map of the search area or at least a few extra details."

"Hm... what are the rules for going on floors not specified for your gender if it's some kind of emergency?"

((Huh, now the characters are mostly interacting with NPCs or stuck in a murder-ghost infested forest. I guess this is slowly turning into an actual RPG and before we know it, people will be running armor penetration tests in the background.))

That's probably Sens because I'm too lazy to think up more NPCs at the moment.

"I have absolutely no idea about either of those things. I'm getting all of this information second-hand and my source is... sparse on the details. If there's any maps of the search area they should be in here but..." Sens shrugs. "That's not very helpful. I can go ask her for more info, but I'm not expecting much. She prefers a good story compared to facts."

"It depends on the emergency, of course! I doubt that they'll be happy if your emergency is being bored!" Naomi twitters and playfully waves her fan at Laura. "Seriously though. The rules state that in an emergency you're supposed to vacate the building or contact the nearest teacher for support. So if you are caught on the wrong floor, it would best to have a very good reason to be there."

((Also Dave and Esi are looking for Mira, Twin. Just so you know.))

Mira is in the faculty lounge, or as close equivalent as there is in the dorm.

"Are you Ms. Mira?"

She closes the book she had been reading, placing a bookmark. "Yes. Do you need something?"

Esi looks all around the lounge while they talk.

"We were looking for a telepath so that she could see what emotions feel like."
Dave gestures to Esi.

"Hm." Mira says, adjusting her glasses.

((Just checking, USEC, does telepathy in this setting work like that? Like, could she send emotions and not just words?))

Ray looks over to Lidia, now that they're out of the tree.

He appears to think for a second.

He then blushes.
