With a smile Clover began rushing after Ray.

Ray, taking advantage of Kendall not being anywhere near him and others playing catch-up, kicks the ball at the goal, hard.  It rockets down the field towards the goal, going for the corner Ray's closest to.

Annie starts coming at David at a brisk pace. Not exactly running, but certainly not slow either. Something gives him the feeling that right here, right now, was the place he really wanted to be in the least...

Esi slowly strafes over to that corner and reaches out to catch the ball. It stops dead in her grip.
"I have successfully prevented you from scoring."
She proceeds to gently throw it back onto the field.

Ray catches up to the ball and kicks it at the corner opposite Esi.

Clover continued to run, she was getting pretty close to Ray now.

(Aine suprisingly stops it due to having gone to the most likely place someone could have currently got the ball through of course he then tries kicking it and well he kicked it but now it's in the air and he almost fell over.)
