"Right, we need a plan of attack."

Esi waits for instructions.

"Shouldn't we assign a goalie first?"

"Nice to meet you, too." Laura says, and turns to her team, waiting for whatever planning was going to happen.

[Kansa]

"Hmmmmm, I guess so." she pointed towards Esi "You can be"

Esi nods.
"What is a "goalie"?"

[Empiricist]

"Esi, see those two posts there? The the goal. If the ball goes through there, they gain a point. What you need to do is stay near the goal and stop the ball from ever going between them. You can grab the ball with your hands and throw or kick it away then, preferably to a position a teammate can receive it. You can't run while holding the ball, so don't go running into the other team's goal while holding it. You can also just kick it away from underneath opposing players that's called tackling, but grabbing is preferable. Do -not- target the people themselves, that isn't allowed."

Esi nods.
"I do not have hands."

[Empiricist]

"Can you use those arm-like appendages to grab things though? If so, just use those. You can also bounce the ball off your head or chest if it's airborne."

[SOLDIER First]

Esi nods again.

[Kansa]

"I'll be the striker, you can be mid-fielders" she pointed towards Kendall and Aine "And you can be the defender" she pointed towards James

that sounds fine so midfielders are guys who don't go forward and are kinda there to help the goalie and sometimes acts like forwards right?
