"You cannot damage pure energy with ordinary materials. There is a 90% chance this is correct."

Almost as soon as she finishes speaking Esi rushes him. She makes an overhead slash across his chest, moving incredibly fast from her previous position.

Clover spun around, propelled by the unstoppable object she had collided with, she increased the friction once again and began to slow. It was a few seconds before she managed to rise to her feet and try once more to jab her opponent.

"I'm Adam" he says in response to Calvin.

Adam then takes a defensive stance

The tap bats against Lidia's head, jerking it forward, but she's too busy having a revelation to care. "Oh, that's how it works... well if that's how it's gonna be, that's how it's gonna be!" She copied his teleport, taking longer this time to get up... and teleporting the sword-arm one towards Ray. If it happened to make contact, at least, he would find to his relief that the semi-transparent blade wouldn't actually cut him, just thump hard into him and then shatter, not present enough to really be sharp.

Ray ducks.
"You're out, Lidia.  I could have just smashed your skull in."

Kendall takes a while to re-steady and turn around. He's definitely not too prepared for the strike, though through either instinct or muscle memory, he manages to step to the side while doing the whole "guide blade away and advance" trick again. Except this time, rather than doing the full guide and spin routine, he goes for a quicker option, shifting his weapon and attempting to slam its pommel into Clover.

Clover's staff soared past him throwing her balance off slightly, she attempted to recover and to dodge the next attack but was not quick enough to stop the pommel slamming into her. With an oof she was sent to the floor clutching at her side.

"Well ya DIDN'T did ya! Shoulda knocked me down again if ya wanted to win! The last dudes before us KOed each other, not... tapsies or whatever!"
Grinning, Lidia popped the sword right out of the translucent sword arm, and wielded it.
"Like... pinning at the least! I'm not a wimp! Are YOU?"

Kendall lowers his weapon shakily, resting against it while he catches his breath.
"You okay?" He asks in between pants. "'Cause if you can get back up, it's your win."

Clover groaned slightly and with a great effort she rose to her feet. The triumphant smile on her face could not completely mask the pain she was feeling.
"Not sure I could do much more fightin' but I should be ok. That was a good fight."

"I -know- I can't. So it's your win then."
He laughtsback.
"No need to even hit if your foe's too exhausted to fight back anymore. That slide was great, didn't really expect it, and trying to block it magic, well"
He gestures to his slouching posture.
"Too tiring. Way too tiring."

Dave jumps back, but it isn't fast enough to... wait, she missed him? That's odd, she should have at least gotten a glancing blow on him. Dave for his part, recovers as his machete glows a nice greenish color as it expands.
"That was rude! I wasn't ready yet."
