Lidia jogs to the side again... or STARTS to, before jetting to the OTHER side, having made the feint in hopes of sending Ray the wrong way.

It kind of doesn't matter, because no matter which way she tries to jump, her shadow is twisted around her ankles.

Kendall advances forwards, focusing on the front of the staff and makes what looks to be an attempt to cut against her weapon as a means to beat it away. However, at the last moment he positions his blade to slide on top of the stave, guiding it away while he goes for a thrust to the throat with a sudden burst of speed.

Clover knowing that to fight back with pure strength would be suicide, jumped backwards once again making her staff not there to hit. She slid backwards much further than she should have naturally, now way out of the Kendall's reach. Her smile did not fade, as she stopped around ten feet away from her opponent.

Kendall drops his blade (as in, lowers it, not as in he just disarms himself out of the blue) into the position he first wielded Esi in. He backs away slowly, all while focusing on a point in front of himself rather than his foe.

Clover fell back into her stance,
"You know how to use that thing."

"Everyone needs a hobby. Mine's swordfighting, not like my magic gets any use elsewhere. You're quick, and you out-range me, wouldn't have thought that out of the two us, I'd be the one receiving the compliment."
Kendall grins back as he advances slowly, keeping himself just out of his opponent's range.
