well, possibly, but if there aren't enough willing stock (as doubtful as that is ) they gotta eat in a controlled manner, instead of running around feeding on people

One that was about to sail straight past the guidelines. You could just never mention it like all the other actions people would need to perform, but which are never mentioned, such as setting alarm clocks, basic hygiene, etc. Alternatively, just assume there's something like Soylent for them that substitutes their meals. Or just assume they spam overly pedantic healing magic that heals malnutrition, starvation and hunger.
