If I recall correctly that one was abandoned for having too many conflicting components. Since a police game involving giant monsters and magical exoskeletons isn't much of a police game anymore. I mean it'd boil down to "murder giant monster", not much policing in that. Plus a system was never decided on either.

Police game in the future with magic exoskeletons and kaiju: unrelated and silly.
The police don't fight kaiju, the military / a PDF does. If they're special police that fight specifically kaiju, then they aren't police.
