To hide the... well, it wasn't shame necessarily, just kind of not the kind thing they would like to have linked to their family. Little Katie was sent to live with her aunt and uncle in Bel Air where she was raised as a fine woman of gentle breeding... that occasionally spat hymns that few rappers could match.
