Was considering that, but I hardly ever watch anime so I don't know too much about typical costume design. I'd probably just end up describing a gimp suit. Or fire. As in literally, just having him perpetually on fire, with the smoke conveniently censoring as much as needed and triggering fire alarms.

Or just have a character that's a Half-drow-half-spider-half-devil-half-spider Illithid. Or some sort of living embodiment of Australia's ecosystem.

You could just build a minimalistic combat system that doesn't actually have any rules for handling combat, but instead handles the more important things such as incoherent screaming, stupid poses, mid-fight speeches and telegraphing attacks.

Yeah but how? By having a weird outfit comprised entirely out of interlocking belts? Or having a mostly normal outfit, except instead of being woven from thread, it was woven from really really thin and long belts? Or just having larger belts, so instead of having a bunch of regular belts that do nothing, they have a bunch of wrestling championship belts that do nothing?
