They don't. They'll just have a bunch of identical rooms arranged in a manner that renders it hard to remember which room someone was in. Then people will just sleepily stumble into them at night which will presumably lead to a series of farcical misunderstandings that will end in a free-for-all in the burning remains of the building.

Baaah, I want to have a stat system with statsss
It gives something of a chance to develop the character a little, and I always enjoy that. Helped with my characters in KSG and Crimson Waters, too; putting together actual stats helped me add little bits to their personalities; for example, I only decided that Yu was actually pretty smart after doing stat stuff, and Kyo being really stronk. The stats for Fontanne allowed me to figure out just what the heck her actual physical capabilities were in the first place, and let me include the life-saved-by-water thing as actual game mechanics, which was fun
