Okay, think I'll celebrate the return by ceasing to be the thing I was previously, and starting to be this thing:

I attempt to follow.
you wearily drag yourself to a simple room down an isolated hallway. Runes are carved into the walls and doorway. Speak a password, and the room will allow you.
Your need is growing. You must kill today! But, what is a day in a place like Omega base?

Head down the first hallway I see
(5) you find a temple. a neat little shrine, about 25 foot in diameter, a hemisphere, decorated in murals of various blessed saints, soft cushions and a couple of strategically placed curtains. The lighting is low, the priests' chants are soft. A strange orange slime puddles at about 45 degrees up the wall to the left on the opposite side of the room from you.

Okay, think I'll celebrate the return by ceasing to be the thing I was previously, and starting to be this thing:

Spoiler: The First Wing! (click to show/hide)
Alright. What's The Avatar of The bird people gonna do first?

I'll start a mission this weekend if you guys are ready. I have in mind a hostile negotiation / kidnapping / rescue.  Or a hunt for a magical device. Or you can be mercenaries in a war between city-states. mmm. Or you can treat the plague affecting the Mushroid Colonies of Alfan. Or something else.

Go find some corvids to speak with and get information on the surroundings. Also get rid of that -1 to sharp weapons, I just realized it's extraneous.

(3) you find some corvids, and they caw at you about territory, shinies, and general rudeness.

Well go pray in the temple before wandering. also some negotiations sound cool
(1) you wake several hours later and wipe the drool off your chin. sometimes, praying is hard.

"Lake of dreams"
The room chimes and glows softly for a moment. The floating metal thing drifts away.

That's not exactly what I want to know. Go for a more direct usage of Ravenisim to extract information on the immediate area without having to ask nicely.

done and done

Try going in the room?
you enter the room. As advertised, the room allows you. You don't experience anything unique doing so.

mkay, what aspect of Ravenism are you using, and what information are you seeking?

((FYI, I'm not going to let you eat me. :P))

You know, just take all the map bits out of their heads and put it in my head, so I know the map bits now. So I know what Omega Base is all about, please explain that.
After that, go caw at some supply-person until they give me a sharp and shiny.
