Walk torward the canyon, see if I can contact the pact master or feel their presence./b]
you head into the canyon. You can sense the presence of the pact master. it seems ... hungry
"HISSSS."
A pale arm emerges from Evelyn's wound, and starts to wave urgently.
Turn inside-out.
((...Just wanna point out, I think it would be pretty cool if both personalities have different stat distibutions, given their wildly different minds and bodies. It would be kinda abusable, but that's not a terribly large concern considering how long Egan's average character lasts. ))
The more I think about it, the more OP it seems. So I obviously have to try it.

With the possible exception of Caroline's new physical stats, this is a massive upgrade from the unified stats. Having separate statlines lets them cover each other's weaknesses more, and makes this essentially like having the power of two players. I'd only find this justifiable if someone else was controlling the other half, either by making Evelyn an NPC, or by getting another player to play her.
You turn inside out. The Blob gurgles.
I could probably make that dual character work. Struggle for control, the risk of the bond failing, alien thoughts making normal concepts confusing, magic acting rather differently for them, etc. But right now, I don't know that I want ot put that much effort in as GM.
I Unpuff a bit and try to move forward (swimming motion) looking for a hallway.
"I'm sorry. It's just that I'm so great that I can get a bit dissmisive. You probably are a fine peasant, truly fine."
You deflate slightly and hover a foot below the ceiling, pushing along it looking for an exit. You find ... you find the edges of a closed door. Your pounding on the door and arrogant monologue receive no reply.
