Eval of party members:
Fiddler - very good and indipendant, but lacking teamwork and communication. took commstone because he wasnt using it effectively and could be trusted to take care of himself. Specifically, the one time he had issues during the mission, he didn't communicate his situation effectively, so I didn't know to send him assistance. This resulted in the Frost Giant situation being left unhandled. If he had contacted me, I'd have gone there personally to handle the intruders, leaving him to handle the crowd and the Frost Giants, and at the time I was doing low-priority tasks, and was capable of reaching him quickly.

Reggie - MIA

Noir - poor, needs babysitting, hence gave commstone to allow remote monitoring, doesnt understand herself and her own abilities, lacks diplomacy, tries hard, my inability to shift into her means her herritage is important and she really might be telling the truth about it, she has potential to be a huge asset in time, and even if she leaves Omega should be monitored because of her herritage, especially since she made accidental zombie.

Ebony - poor, inattentive and semi-brain dead. needs to be more alert to be effective. When alert was good and effective.

Dar - excellent, team-oriented, skilled at what he does, is somewhat limited by his size.

Eye - good, did what was needed, took initiative once he was pressed into a minor leadership role, reccomend doing so again to grow and maintain its indipendence. Needs to raise the priority of self-preservation so though it does the same tasks it takes steps to preserve itself while it goes about those tasks.
OZ - I cannot go on next mission, I will be without internet for the vast majority of August.
I go to a large open area, preferably somewhere with privacy, and shift to Giant Frost Cat. I have a couple goals here. for one, I need to see that form's full potential, and make it a standard one for me to shift into. for two, I apparently had... scales? back then? Like, I was becoming part frost Dragon, not frost Giant? I need to find out what that was about, and discover if I somehow acquired a frost Dragon back then.

also, I need to check my portrait again.

also again also, I would mention to my superiors that I have a horse form, but that I don't have the training to hide myself as someone's mount, only having a horses instincts to work with. I believe I could serve well as a disguised escort, given training for what a rider's signals mean to the mount. If they have someone in mind, then it would be best if that same person was there to help train me, to improve coordination.

Assuming she would be told of her evaluation, Ebony would make a minor note about helping Noir, but would make it clear that she did not believe this in any way excused her inattentiveness or not being particularly helpful. She intends to make attempts to do better in the future.

((OOC, I really am sorry for just disappearing for the majority of the mission. I'd make excuses, but that's pointless. I think I just lost interest for a while, maybe it was a general thing or maybe I just chose the wrong mission for me, but it stirred up towards the end. I'll try to be more active on the next one.))

Go and ask the guy who gave us the task about swamp water. Make sure to keep it low-key, that nobody else overhears. Also, if we haven't been issued the leeches, ask about those too.

Quartermaster: "something useful" is a little vague. Can I have a garrote if that counts as an unarmed weapon? If not, how about a magical handkerchief of +1 prestidigitation? Or, failing that, a half-pound pouch of crushed glass (with free refills, possibly).

Poisoners: powerful potion, yes please! Preferably one of speed. If that's not practicable, etherealness. And if that doesn't work, surprise me (but tell me what it does, preferably).

Yobs: stick around for the swearing-in, it'll no doubt be a lovely event. move along and see what the other yobs are up to after the rest of my business is done.

"It's probably best not to waste the Officer of the Day's time," Fiddler quietly offers to Noir from the sidelines. "Show it what you can do and the decision will be made quickly and effectively. Or, y'know, just see if you can somehow talk it out with a living totem pole. That has a non-zero chance of working as well."

Noir moves  away form fiddler a bit of astonishment entering her tone a frown on her face.

Fiddler raises an eyebrow and frowns.

"You mean that one time you reanimated that halfling corpse? That was quite terrible, yes, and I do sincerely apologize for subjecting you to an experience like that, even if it was motivated by an earnest desire to investigate your powers and how they might be useful in fulfilling our collective mission."

"Apart from that, don't quite recall you listening to me much more than that, truth be told. However else you managed to hurt or terrify yourself is hardly fair to lump on my shoulders, is it? And even if it were, you must admit that I have had a bit more time to study this situation than you, and so it'd follow that, unlike in matters of your own strange magic, I'd be legitimately well-informed here, no?"

Noir stares at fiddler and In a trying to be calm tone slowly overtaken by anger the longer she talks.
"....Well that one event was a big deal it felt like it messed up my magic and becuase my magic was all messed up I nearly died.I was barely able to heal Aylia some before becoming almost completely exhausted and as such I wasent able to dodge the giant ice spears that nearly killed me. I wasent able to heal myself....i-If ebony dident show up at the last second i would have bleed to death A-And I-it would have been your fault!"
At the end she's standing up looking at you scowling shaking close to furious her wings eyes wide open and glaring at you.

"If you're going to apply logic like that, dear Noir, would it not by extension have been your fault on a greater scale, originating from your decision to leave wherever it is you came from and appear next to us? 'But that's not true at all', a hypothetical you would reply, 'I had no way of knowing that any of the events in that forest would follow from that one decision'. And I would entirely agree, for several reasons," Fiddler replies demonstratively, stepping to the side a little as he maneuvers around Noir periodically.

"Similarly, how would I have ever been able to trace the exact consequences of you using a form of magic like that? Really, if there was any theoretical objection to be raised beforehand, would it not have been yours to raise, in fact? If you could not foresee the far-reaching danger your power posed, what chance did I have? Where was this dose of self-righteous hindsight when it would have legitimately mattered?"

"M-My powers haven't messed up before this I think my dad probably stopped me from having to worry about that how was I supposed to know how  this world would affect me.Your the native to the world you clearly know it better then me! I've only been out of my dimension 4 times!"

Did you assume I must know better because this follows any kind of logical sense or because it would handily absolve you of any responsibility for what you try and do? Does it really make sense that, even in the unlikely case that I was a scholar of extraplanar sorcery and universal metaphysics, that I would immediately be able to tell you better than you know yourself about what it is that your powers can or cannot do?"

((can only put 5 in a skill and 5 in a stat, cant combine. but how YOUR character grows and what they mature into is best left to yourself. don't ask for input on this, there isn't a hard answer. If you have a mental vision of Ebony's lategame, just focus on that and build towards it.))

Fiddler smiles gently. "That makes two of us, dear Noir. I am here now. Where is here, I find it very difficult to say. A camp of some kind, most likely. Belonging to the Omega Legion. Who serve some sort of Queen, perhaps. I'm just trying to make the best of things that I do know," he nods toward the Officer of the Day. "Such as, for example, that the large fellow is far more interested in a display rather than a conversation. And even where I come from it's bad form to waste a superior's time, which I'm afraid we're doing already. Really, I should probably be going any moment now, lest I receive a baleful gaze or some such."
