Everything is David Lynch (Suggestion game)
« on: December 18, 2015, 01:10:48 am »

The stench of smoke lies heavy in the air. The cold, unyielding mass of concrete presses into your back. Every tendon in your body aches with the resounding impact. The crackling of flames licks at the corners of your consciousness.

Your name doesn't matter. All that matters now is what you can do.

Prioritize your Physical, Mental, and Social attributes. If you wanted to be very physical, write it as 1) Physical, 2) Mental, 3) Social. The first selection will recieve the most points. Then, specify what about that attribute you are best at. For Physical, that would be Strong, or Quick. For Mental, that would be Logical, or Intuitive. For Social, that would be Willful or Charismatic. A valid vote would be structured as such: 1) Physical (Quick), 2) Mental (Logical), 3) Social (Willful)

Prioritize your Physical, Social, and Technical skills. For Physical, you can specify Watchful, or Dangerous. For Social, you can specify Persuasive, or Shadowy. For Technical, you can specify Concrete, or Abstract. A valid vote would be structured like so: 1) Social (Persuasive), 2) Physical (Watchful), 3) Technical (Abstract).

Assume the world to be modern day. People are a little less likely to travel, and telecommunications are a bit less reliable, but on the whole, it is very familar to us. Non serious, comedy oriented, or strange votes/suggestions will not be accepted at my discretion. That's not to say I don't appreciate levity, but keep it....reasonable, mmkay?

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

You never were the type to bend easily, that much is true, but you always tried to temper your stubborness with flexibility. Your faith in, or perhaps, ability to manipulate others was always your strongest asset. Persuading, intimidating, working the system, all of that was easy as pie.

While you were quick on your feet, you were never the strongest sort, either. Maybe your fragility was not the best life choice, laying on the cold concrete. Well. Too late to regret it now. Your eyes and ears were keen as razors, and you remember the glock in your back pocket, digging into your hip. Full magazine. Never were the best shot-you always liked less direct means.

Neglecting school probably wasn't the best plan, either, but the streets have taught you their own lessons. How to google, patch up a gunshot wound.

You get up. Other than a few bumps and bruises, you feel alright. it hurts

You seem to be in a warehouse. Dark, smokey fire seems to be chewing it's way through wooden crates. Smoke is collecting at the ceiling. What do you do?

A steel shutter looks like it was rolled up, and provides easy escape. There's a corpse on the ground-but it's hard to tell what happened to it. You hear the squeals of tires screeching away from the building.

Your phone rings. Butt dialing strikes again, it seems. At least you know where your phone is-and everything, including a map back to your home. Smoke spirals into the air.

(I think I know what this is based off... ;D)
Forget the phone for now - we can call them back. Lift the shutter open and run the hell away before the building collapses in on itself.

Getting the hell out seemed like a good plan, and you do so. You hear the far away wail of fire engines- best you leave before they accuse you of arson or worse.

You've been wandering around late night down town for an hour now, with no clearer memory of what happened. Last thing you remember, you were safely at home. The weather is wet, a thick fog blocking out the rising sun.

What do you do?

Go to a bar you know, order another drink and add it to your tab. It's time to get a consoling session from Dr. Jack Daniels.
Edit: Just realized most pubs would be closed. Ah well, we'll have to postpone that session. How about getting some eggs at a diner? Eggs are almost as good as whiskey for dealing with horrific trauma!
