Even though there are no mounts in this game? Troubadour > Holy Guard might be better, unless Triangle Attack is really useful.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

I'm thinking of going Merc -> Commander. We could probably use more magic though.

The problem with that is I don't like the Holy Guard class. Personal bias. And at least Troubadour and Valkyrie don't rely crazy heavy on their mounts to be effective.

Are the gameplay changes not shown because they're only the ones listed or because they aren't finalized yet?

And a mug to go with, naturally.

I have to ask: How infested with undead is the world of Dark Souls? Because Crusaders get a nice little bonus against them, which might make them worth playing.

Absolutely filled with them. Most of the enemies are undead of some kind. Whether it'll be like that in this game, is another matter.

Undead don't get bonuses against themselves, USEC.

I guess I'll wait and hear from the GM in that case before making any rash decisions. I'm also vaguely expecting that indoor maps will be more common than other FEFs due to the setting, so playing as a Fencer wouldn't be the worst idea in the world either.

Not with that attitude they don't.

...also because it doesn't make sense

I mean, in-universe it could be against Hollow, as Cursed Undead are essentially humans that don't die.
And are occasionally corpses, but that can't be helped.

They aren't finalised. There will probably be a few minor changes to come.

Most hollows you encounter will not be classified as undead for the purposes of the Crusader ability or certain types of magic, etc

Good enough for me. Fencer -> Crusader it is. Now to think up... pretty everything else about the character. And cry at the fact that I don't have enough progression to properly utilize that Light magic proficiency.
