Not necessarily. If we're earning experience for our actions like we are now, I'd imagine it would take about the same time as normal to level up in things.

Simplicity is much easier. Give players the ability to tune characters as things progress. If anything, that reduces gamisms

I voted stay back, it gives a better chance of avoiding enemy fire, I would assume.
