Could make them megabeasts or semi-megabeasts and live in ruined temples.

There is a way to make a metal available to a single race. But that would only work if it was a civ and not a megabeast.

Yeah, I know how to do that (and probably would reverse engineer Deon's Genesis for that), but what I meant was this: http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2014:Vault

Ahh well.

I know what you meant, but sadly it can't be done. I was just suggesting alternatives that have similar results. Its sad but some things just can't be modded.

Oh hello!  Light direction here.

Could you not make a metal that can never be harvested or forged?

I intend to add a bunch of weird metals to competently replace the normal ones.

I would suggest that everyone add a type of stone or stone layer.  Make it interesting!

I intend to add sparrows soon, although me being depicted as a mythical bird might not be so bad.

Does solan metal have an ore yet?

Anyway, do not want getting Kobalt to be easy, lets make the ore deadly to the touch!

(150) Create Syndrome Kobaldite liquidification.  Contact or inhaled causes nerves, skin and bones to blister and swell over the short term then Severe localized necrosis over the medium term.  A property of Kobaldite.

Does that actually do anything?  I assume carrying it will need gloves now or something.

Bah I read up that carrying stone doesn't cause contact so the Kobaldite would never actually effect anything, have to think up something else.

(25) Create Stabbash - A short staff with a sharp point on one end and a rounded weight on the other.  It can be forged out of metal (or carved out of wood?).  All non giant races can use and forge Stabbashes, assuming they are large enough to wield them at all.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

(25) Create the Spear Bow - A crossbow variant that shoots out small, sharp spears.  Humans and some other guys might use it.  (Again, not sure if alternative ammo types would work...)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I only intend to create jagged jewel-oriented materials and possibly stones, and creatures from default Dwarf Fortress.

Comes with the title as God of Multiverses :p

The reason for the creation of "divine" beings was just to... well... add a layer of divinity as needed, like avatars. (would very much want to spawn dice monsters sometime soon.)

((-50))I form Goolig wood trees: tall thick trees that grow hard heavy red wood, thick leaves, and some sweet red fruit.

((-25))I form Bladoosh: a sharp, heavy, wood and stone blade made by the Venoosh. it is used for battle, mining, and the cutting of trees.

((-25))I make Voodeen: a type of wood mask that covers the whole face, it is made by the Venoosh.

((-100))I make rooky toos: a small, green, quick bird, they will live underground and lack eyes. males will have small horns and claws.

Ultimuh looked upon the world and thought it lacked a bit of variation.

The world needs more flora.
I shall create some which shall spread across the world!

Wabbawood a strange pink tree with faces of varied expressions along its trunk.

Boomshroom A type of mushroom which can be made into explosives. (A reaction perhaps? Otherwise, just use it as a spicy sort of food/beverage.)

Wyrdberry Berries that resembles fuzzy white things. The berries can be made into food and an alcoholic beverage. It is mildly bitter but highly intoxicating.

Sootheflower A serenely light blue flower which can be made into thread.
And also brewed into a beverage, it has a sweet taste.

Create the Gylderin. -200
Gylderin are highly craftty, but rather friendly and gregarious race of thin, humanoid beings with long appendages and a tall built. They are prone to trance and are highly apt at wordsmithing as well as musical arts. Their ethics demand the eating of their dead.

A rival to the Urgh then?
Or perhaps an ally?

"i have many names. which one do you wish to know?"
"The one you desire us to call you."

The Creep shall create the Zesti Mushroom.
It is a tall, stringy, orange mushroom with a zesty taste.
It is commonly cooked or brewed into a wine.

The Creep shall then make the Sozo Mushroom.
It is a light green colored mushroom that has a very reflective and shiny surface.
It can be brewed into a very sour drink.

The Creep shall then make the Terber.
It is a large, lumpy, and all around unappealing mushroom that can be farmed.
Its only use is to be made into a type of bitter bread.

The Creep shall then make their final creation the Swelo.
It is a tiny mushroom that is pink, cyan, and green.
They have a very sweet flavor and can be cooked, brewed into wine, or made into Swelo Jam.
