"How about you guys surrender and we'll talk it out?"

Dante sighs and grumbles to himself.

"Alright Koya, let's withdraw to the ship and figure out our next move. I will need to hear a reasonable description of what's going on. After you, of course."

Dante doesn't start threatening him with the pistol, just yet. He's certainly ready to, but making it obvious would be quite rude.

Code: [Select]
??? Roll: 1d20 + 1 = 3
??? Roll: 1d20 + 1 = 18

Koya stands up, gripping his wound. "A'ight, a'ight! Don't get pushy!" On approaching the Midnight Sun, Koya stumbles and elbows Dante in the stomach. Momentarily stunned, Koya attempts his escape, but trips on a broken slab in the dark. He hits his head, falling unconscious. Blood begins to pool from the unmoving calamity.

+8 Experience.

Go check on my allies. See if they're alright.

You begin to move toward Dante to check his wound, only to watch in utter amazement as Koya's fall unfolds.

Fix the problem! Also make sure the terminal didn't fry any wiring.
Assist Vakar.

Code: [Select]
Kevak - Starship Mechanic Roll
1d20 + 2 = 4
Code: [Select]
Nunzillor - Starship Mechanic Roll
1d20 + 4 = 22

On considering the damaged terminal, Vakar and Saxson discuss on possible causalities and repairs. Vakar unfortunately seems to be stumped but, perhaps naturally due to causing the damage, or by luck, Saxson discovers the problem and begins making repairs.
After switching wires, moving metals, scrubbing dodgy chipsets and removing a badly-placed screw which is bridging two worn cables - that Saxson avoids mentioning - Saxson is able to fix what should be the issue.

+12 Experience for Saxson.

Upon hearing that a sniper rifle (Insanely jealous) was found in the air ducts, Rob scours the air ducts for weapons and items of use.

Rob, in awe, immediately boots the nearest air duct and dives headfirst inside. He screams in HORROR however as the biggest House Spider he has ever seen crawls over his FACE! Stuck momentarily, his arms wedged, and his hands flailing outside, his haunting screams reverberate metallicy throughout the ship, giving pause to all who would hear it.

Eventually, he clambers out and bravely vows never to wedge himself in an air duct again.

"Y'know, I'm not really even all that surp-"

Dante's remark is interrupted by the scream of pure horror from the ship, leaving his comment to die in his throat. Better than even odds that the idiot bleeds out before he can deal with whatever the problem on the ship is. Better than even odds that if Dante stays and provides medical aid, he bleeds out and whatever is on the ship causes significant damage to Dante's investment.

Dante sighs, squares his shoulders, and sprints towards the scream.
"Not paid nearly enough for this."

Armal would make his way back to the ship, and notice the corpse.
Being a caring individual, he would first check if the person was still alive (though this might be beyond even his medical skills to save) and if he is still alive, Try to save their life. if not, just loot the corpse for anything of value.

I FUCKIN' HATE SPIDERS. Seeing that the vents were actual home to dangerous and disgusting beasts of terror, Rob checks the gun turret to see if the remote works properly.

Sorry for the late reply; had my son for a couple of days. :)

You rush inside to find Rob facing away from you and brushing himself frantically all over; loosening his collar and shaking his sleeves. "Vile, VILE, creatures! We're calling an exterminator..." He wanders off, apparently unaware of your presence.

I FUCKIN' HATE SPIDERS. Seeing that the vents were actual home to dangerous and disgusting beasts of terror, Rob checks the gun turret to see if the remote works properly.

Rob gives himself one final brush-off before walking away, shaking his pant-sleeves with every step. On reaching the cockpit, frustration clear on his face, he boots up the power and checks the motors on the guns; they're back online.

You check the downed asian's pulse, and find that Koya is still rather alive. The blood seems to be spillage from his shoulder wound, the only expectation of not-so-great vitality for this fellow is bleeding out - which would probably require a first aid kit.

"Right. Looks like I need to hurry up." Armal would use the first aid kit He bought to stabilize Koya's condition, then carry the poor sod to what passes for the medical bay.

". . ."

Dante heads back outside and assists Armal, mostly by providing cover in case the mansion opens fire again.

Unsure of what to do, rob checks the delivery crate to see if there are any extra medical supplies.

"Right. Looks like I need to hurry up." Armal would use the first aid kit He bought to stabilize Koya's condition, then carry the poor sod to what passes for the medical bay.

Dante takes cover and keeps an eye out, whilst Armal attempts to stabilize Koya's health.

Code: [Select]
First Aid Roll
1d6 = 6

Armal is able to stabilize Koya's condition. However, he is still unconscious. (Koya: +4 HP, First Aid Kit -4 (16/20), Armal Experience +3).

Unsure of what to do, rob checks the delivery crate to see if there are any extra medical supplies.

Code: [Select]
Perception Roll
1d20 + 2 = 7
Physician Roll
1d20 + 0 = 6

Rob heads over to the Cargo Hold and heaves open one of the crates. A sub-zero mist escapes and floods heavily over the edges of the large, plastic, white container, fogging slightly on the ground. You're no scientist, but you know liquid nitrogen when you see it.

Peering inside, daring not to touch anything, the labels of the bottles, tubes and packets are several syllables long. Possibly in another language. You make very little sense of anything inside and promptly close the lid.

A gunshot echoes across the night sky, striking Koya in the leg! -5HP The man suddenly awakens and screams out in pain, his voice hobbling near the end in exasperation, his hands clasped around the wound in pain.

The humming of an engine follows, and a corvette of smaller size than the Midnight Sun appears above the Mansion. "The Mercenaries are running!" calls Dante.

"Jesus Christo, Koya. What the fuck is the problem with these guys?"

Sure would be *great* if team staying-on-the-ship could be returning fire right now. Dante mutters to himself while examining the hostile ship.

Dante attempts to pull Koya into some cover or concealment.

Saxson gets on the turrets, ready to fire.

"Should we fire on them?"
