((While I'm not the GM, I find it rather strange that a character from a legend that sounds like it was from medieval or earlier times not only knows about modern weaponry (hell, even just knowing about explosives is a bit iffy), but is also able to summon it.))

Must be a hallucination. Best keep on my toes, and start moving to the smoke. If I see anyone armed with a proper weapon, I'll shoot first and ask questions later. I doubt there is anyone running my colors anyway, from the looks of how isolated this place is.

Did you also read the part about 'worlds'? Ok, I didn't put that there, but my scene was in a, uh, kinda primal time. It wasn't exactly medieval. And the GM ok'd it! I mean...
((Oh, I see. Y.W. is a time-traveling/multiverse-traveling 'save-people-for-teh-lulz' kind of person. Usually it doesn't take this much time for my logic to work, but I didn't really want to bother reading this much text when it doesn't even interest me.(note: still didn't read through your sheet properly)))

Not quite, but that's how the GM interpreted it. It's more about the fight for them. Bloodthirsty inspiring maniac might be a better description. Yes, inspiring.
((Well, 'teh lulz' that Y.W. gets are gained by getting to kill people, so I wasn't wrong.))

Nyaknyak will slowly advance to the edge of the forest to see where the smoke is from. Human habitation? On the way, observe and smell the forest. What type of forest is it, latitude, animal population etc. ?

Cast a divination spell that will tell me what went wrong. Inspect my body- is it the one I remember?
You cast you divination spell. Hmm, seems like everything went fine in the start. It's only a few moments that a failsafe you put onto yourself detected that you were no longer in the correct coffin and initiated a wakeup spell. But it's odd, the failsafe was supposed to work instantly, and here you are already in a new coffin and underground.

You try to look yourself over. You can't actually raise your head much. You're sure it's the same body. Only the robes have gone a bit mottled over the years. The good news is also that you've lost some weight! The bad news is that now you look like a failry well preserved zombie.

You hear two loud thumps from above ground. They sound pretty far away.


The townsfolk are unarmed. A direct battle will not have a good result. However... I can delay them a bit. Maybe.. with some explosives?



Summon a bazooka (use ctr+f 'bazooka'. It should be the first one.) Walk slowly toward the armoured men. Loose a few shots at them.
((I'm just going to imagine an actual bazooka. Because I don't know how that particular video game one works))

You start walking towards the village, a bazooka materializing in you hand. You see a group of them walking along a street. You take aim and loose a shot in their general direction, to get their attention. The men barely have time to be startled before the little hovel in front of them explodes into wood splinters. Two of them are knocked on their asses. The men scramble to form a shield wall.

"Sorceress in the open! Form up! We can withstand a few fireballs!"

You materialize another round and put in the panzerschreck as the shield wall slowly comes towards you. You casually take aim at the center of the shield wall and fire. the two guys in the middle are just blown to bits, and the two at their sides catch a heavy dose of explosion-to-the-face. One has lost the entire right side of his head. The other is thrown away quite a few meters, and has lost  his left arm and leg. You have to give him credit though, he's a trooper. He tries to crawl away with his remaining two limbs, leaving a gory trail of blood behind him.

((You've also got a knife that doubles as a bayonet and your choice of pistol/revolver, by the way.))

You head towards the smoke, weapon shouldered and cautious. When you near the edge of the hill, you hear two unmistakeble bangs of explosives. Suddenly there's a lot more shouting going on in the village. You walk close and get a good look at what's hapening. In the center of the village there's a large building that has had its doors barred and is currently on fire. From the looks of it, the soldiers were gathered around the building, but they're all converging to the other side of the town right now, in the direction of the blasts.

You do spot three people heading your way. One of them looks like a child, hands bounds behind the back. Behind her are two guys in chainmail with swords and shields. Well, a sword constitutes as a proper weapon, even though you'd personally prefer a gun. One of the soldiers gives the kid a shove and the kid falls to the ground, face first as he's unable to stop his fall with his hands. You take this opportunity to take aim and shoot. Your first shot hits the soldier who pushed square in the chest and he goes down. The second soldier reacts and puts up his shield.

"Fuck! I'll get you for this, ranger! You shan't get through my shield of Edhassanian steel!"

The guy charges at you. Like, actually charges at you over open ground. Who does that in this and age? You sigh and shoulder your rifle again. As he's about halfway, you fire three controlled shots, each .308 round punching clean through the shield. The guy crumples to a heap.

You slowly make your way to the edge of the forest. You do not recognize the vegetation, but the trees look like some close cousin to the oak. The forest is alive with small animals and birds and insects, but you don't sense any large predators close by. It does get more dense the deeper you go, however.

As you walk, you hear two loud bangs in the distance. When you arrive at the edge of the forest. It is indeed human habitation. A town, looks like it's mostly inhabited farmers. The smoke comes from a large central building that is on fire. The soldiers seem to be panicking and running towards one end of the village.

Darius would move in to secure the civillians, looking around for any other soldiers close by. If they have not been seen yet, he'd ask a couple of questions like "what is the name of the town" and "what is a Edhassanian" to get his bearings. otherwise, he'd help the child to their feet and tell them to run, while proceeding to shoot down as many approaching soldiers as he can.

Throw away the bazooka, and summon a torch (or other fire weapon, if that doesn't count. It's a weapon in Bloodborne, so I say it should count. And no, I'm not that harsh.) Cauterize the soldiers wounds, and walk into the village. Circumspectat (look around).
((torches are fine, it's basically a club that's on fire anyway.))
You throw the Panzerschreck to the ground and summon a torch. It burns with a blue flame. As you approach the soldier, you see his efforts to crawl away start getting more desperate. Still, you have no problem catching up to the guy with only one arm and leg and cauterize his wounds, which makes him scream quite loudly.

You then start walking into the village. Dead peasants litter the streets, though most of them are men. Women and children are almost not present among the dead. The doors to the houses have all been bashed in and the houses ransacked. Over the rooftops you can see the large building in the center of the town. Some kind of church, though instead of a cross it has a white metal symbol on top. the symbol looks like an eight pointed star, with three smaller star shaped holes in the middle. You can hear footsteps coming from in front of you and to your sides.

You take a moment to observe, but see no other civilians or soldiers in the immediate area. You rush over to the kid. He's still on the ground. The kid is wearing some tattered brown clothes and is barefoot. His blonde hair is dirty with blood. You grab his hands and the kid struggles. His struggles are in vain though, and you take out your bayonet knife and cut his restraints. Before you get the chance to tell the kid to run, he quickly scuttles a bit further than you. He stares at you, wide eyed, bright blue eyes seemingy confused.

"You...saved me? Are you with the royal Amand forces? Please, sir, I beg you! My mother and sister, please save them from the church!"

You try to open the coffin, but the lid won't budge. You shout, but the sound is a little off. Oh for crying out loud, they didn't even dig you up! You're still underground! Whoever did this clearly deserves an ass kicking.

You transform into a formidable hawk and fly up. You fly over to where the soldiers are running, circling above to find a nice spot. You finally settle in on the roof of a large house. The soldiers seem to be splitting up, in one big group and two smaller ones. They're converging on a narrowish street, where you can only see one person, dressed in black and blue and wearing a mask. Looks like they're trying to flank.

Summon a kiteshield and walk forward, look for people.
((indeed. You can hear the footsteps in the distance but they're still a bit away))

Well. It appears that the soldiers are probably responsible for the burning, and that the all but defenceless villagers are being protected by the lone man. How much slaughter might be avoided if the soldiers were made to flee?

Summon furious lightning on one of the flanking groups I can see.

Preferably without revealing me as the source!

With that objective in mind he'd head to the center of town, trying to avoid detection. He'd also scavenge a sword from one of the fallen soldiers so as to better engage in melee. Far quieter than using a gun in these conditions.
