The dock was fairly large; where they docked the boat was a robed figure behind a counter, with all assortments of wares on it. Stanley went up and spoke to him a bit, sliding over some gold as he picked up three items off.
"I thought these might help you," he said before handing them each one.

He found that he couldn't get any signal at all; either they were simply too deep, or the Barrier blocked even signals. He reasoned that the latter was most probable.
