Sophia calmly implored the golem to stand down. Reprise could explain himself better.

"We're not sneaking out, Mr. Guard. We're off to a big mission: To see your King."

He poses, then gives a triumphant smirk to Shroomera.

Shroomera continued to stare at Reprise. Reprise has the feeling that Shroomera didn't even understand a word he said.
"Keep going. You paaasss by lake soon, really pretty and wet."

Alvin looked at Shroomera, and then at Reprise.  "...okay." He then continued forward, looking for the lake.

They came across a vast lake, the area lit blue by echo flowers as they spotted a dock with a boat.
"You have to sail across. I will waaait on the other siide. Don't get hurrrt."
Shroomera simply walked into the water, and began walking, his entire form eventually submerged completely.

"Oh, what are these?" Alvin walked up to an echo flower and sniffed it.

It seemed to smell sort of fruity. Suddenly, it glowed and he heard a voice, belonging to Gell, come from the flower:
"Gee, bro, I don't think these things are good in pie."

"That's an echo flower. They hear things around them, and repeat the last thing they hear."

"That's cool!  It smells nice too." Alvin picked one and placed it over his ear.  "So, I guess we need to get across this lake..." The boy inspected the boat.  Was it a sailboat or a rowboat?

Lazarus looks at a nearby flower and smirks before going and whispering to it.

It appeared to be an old wooden rowboat. The waters of the lake, however, seemed extremely calm and the blue glow gave it a very serene feel. As Shroomera said, it was very beautiful.
"Ah, I love going here. Sometimes I even go fishing."

A ripple washes across the lake.  One could almost swear that there was a pair of eyes visible for a second.
