The wall of ice blocking the door lower, letting the door creak open.
"Well, no royal guard for me I guess... oh well. Maybe I can finally pursue my hobbies, like cooking... and I guess I won't have many friends, either."

"Would you rather die in defiance, or die knowing you helped an entire civilization?"

To wake up hearing those particular words come out of Gell's mouth... made Sophia somewhat angrier. The freeze-dry situation they were in made Sophia particularly grim.

"Oh, I see how it goes. I suppose the fox lady was right after all. We were dead to begin with. If you were to step on our shoes, would Hedron be alright knowing that his brother would have to die in order to free everyone?"

Strangely, as Sophia said those things, she didn't shake or tear up anymore, as if her determination was renewed. Stranger still, she actually wanted to hit Gell as hard as she could, Hedron be damned, but her kindness is making her think about the entire thing harder. She's full of confusion and anger.

Alvin slowly starts edging towards the exit.

Hedron is standing directly next to it, on the outside of the bars.

"Would YOU be having a good time if, one day, you got lost, fell down this damp cavern, cry and cry all you like and then realize YOU'RE NEVER WAKING UP FROM THIS NIGHTMARE, and to top it off, we have to DIE to free everyone...?"

"Since... since when did we get to abandon our own rights just to free everyone...? I... I'm not even sure I can trust you all! I don't want to free the people who tried FREEZING ME TO DEATH!"

The emotional facades crack, and Sophia begins sobbing. As she does, she sits on the hay-floor in a fetal position, trying to ease herself. She tries her best holding her sanity together, this time.

"...Alvin. Please don't leave. You're the only one I can trust here..."
