Alvin notices Hedron staring at him.  "H-hedron, why are you doing this to us?  I thought you were our friend!" Unsure, he continues to consider attacking the deceptive monsters, waiting for a moment of weakness.

[SOLDIER First]

"i'm not stupid, human. i have to protect you, and i am."

"by not killing you."

[Nunzillor]

"Wow Hedron, you really are protecting us."

Alvin grabbed Gell and kept him immobile.  "L-listen up!  You let us out of this cage right now, and nobody gets hurt!  Then we take a little walk.  O-otherwise we s-stab Gell here a few more holes to help him breathe!  U-understand?"

Alvin had enough.  Everything was becoming clear.  Maybe Flowey was right...

((He's just gonna freeze Alvin again, I guess...))

Alvin holds him for a few more minutes, and then lets go.  He slumps down, ashamed.

"W-we can't trust them!  We can't trust anyone. Can't you see?"

Gell, as he is let go, takes a step back towards Hedron.
"W-Why can't you all see? Without your SOULs, we all... we can't be free."

"Would you rather die in defiance, or die knowing you helped an entire civilization?"

"But why do we have to die? In the stories I've read people can do what seems to be impossible if they're really determined... So why can't we open the barrier without having to die?"
