Sophia shyly remarks, as she has remained silent for far too long.

Hmm, so it isn't a veggie hotdog, it's real meat!  The plot thickens.  "In my opinion, it's very important.  A hotdog of any other name tastes just as sweet, but has the potential to offend far fewer.  You know, I've always wondered... where does this meat come from?"

"Meat is either synthetic or from animals. Hey, Vilight, get me the usual. Thanks."

Vilight slides over a plate of fries with chili spread over them, Stanley taking a bite out of one.
"I adore the chili fries here. Say, what are your names?"

"Is... Is it human meat...?"

The more she thinks about it, the more she's disgusted with her spontaneous remark. She tries to hide it, however, but one with an eye for body language can tell that she tensed up a bit.

"What? Of course not. Humans never come down here. If they did... then.. yeah, you know."

Animals?  Does that mean that dogs were walking dogs, and pigs were raising pigs and butchering them?  "I'm Alvin.  Yeah, we know.  Why don't we all say it out loud, though?"

"Well, a lot of monsters don't want to see anybody get hurt, such as myself. The king, however, does. So it's become a pretty shallow topic."

"Uhh, it's Sophia, Sir."

She meekly takes a nearby seat, as the conversations between Alvin and Stanley continuing. Sophia doesn't feel much for conversation at the moment, but she can feel that she's being a bit too silent than usual.

"You know what, you're right.  Someone should do something about that!  Do you know if there are places that strongly oppose that to the point of refusing to surrender humans?"

"Hello, Sophia. But, also, many monsters wish to see the surface, and are willing to side with Asgore's politics to do so. As for your question, I do not think so; the Royal Guard has an extremely strong influence all over the Underground... I heard that the King's wife left him because of his decision to hunt down humans. You seem pretty unknowing of such a topic; you want to know more?"

Lazarus shows the dogman his name in the usual manner. He also jabs the talkative Alan in the ribs. But at the offer of knowledge he nods eagerly.

Sophia listens closely to Stanley's story... She could piece things together to keep everyone safe.

"Yes please, Mister... Please continue."

Alvin understands the intent of the the jab, and resolves to be a bit less forthcoming.  He nods.

They can't take ours. With human SOULs, monsters such as King Asgore can grow in power and do unspeakable things. The human sorcerers locked us within the undergrounds and sealed us in.. now, Asgore wishes to gather human souls so he can destroy the barrier, and wage war once more on humankind. It is said that the Barrier is one-way, as in those from the outside can get in, but nothing can leave... unless you have a soul of both monster and human. But those are just myths. There's more science stuff to it; if you want to know more about that, talk to Ild in Hotland."
