This is a story that was posted on a site called Pokémon Omega before it got shut down. On this site here was a thriving forum and on that forum was a really popular story, that story was titled "My Ralts Story."
Since that forum now gets very little traffic I would like to share this story with all of you, even though this is not a Pokémon site. There are a few things you must know first.
1. I do not own any of this. I didn't write it, I didn't help with it, I did nothing for the development of this story, I am simply sharing it with all of you.
2. Do you want to see the story on the forums that it originated on? Well then simply head on over the omegaremains.com to read it.
3. This is based off of a fan-made Pokémon game call Pokémon Omega, the site is now shut down due to a copyright claim by Nintendo about the time that Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire were being announced, should the story mention anything that confuses you, please leave a reply and I will get back to you ASAP.
4. I am not going to post all 67 parts at one time, I will post them over a course of a long period of time like Eeveelution (the creator of the story) did. I will post a large number of parts on the first day but after that they will slow down, but you can still read them all at omega remains if you would like, though I wouldn't because it will only make you sad at how barren that forum is now, shame too.
5. All of the names are of people on the site, their usernames. So if someone's name sounds really weird, cut him some slack okay, they were based on people who's names we only knew by this.
6. They do get better after the first few I promise.
Part 1: Being Unique
In the wild existed a Shiny Ralts.
He was teased by the other Ralts, because he was a different color. This, in turn, made him very lonely.
One day, a trainer by the name of Eeveelution came along and noticed that the Ralts was sad. Eeveelution brought out his quirky, shiny Swablu "Fluffy" to show the Ralts that he wasn't 'different', but special, just like Fluffy. Enjoying the company of Eeveelution and Fluffy, Ralts decided to join Eeveelution. Eeveelution gave him the nickname "Dreamer", promising him that he could accomplish what he wanted.
The following week, Eeveelution met up with his friend Bakuya in Treebranch Town to get advice on how to beat the second gym. The friends decided to release their Pokémon to eat lunch. Soon after Eeveelution released Dreamer, Bakuya released a bashful, shiny Ralts named "Dreamy". The two Ralts bonded instantly!
Bakuya decided to leave his Shiny Ralts with Eeveelution to allow this relationship to foster. To be continued…
With the help of his fire Pokémon, Eeveelution conquered Coco’s gym and obtained his second badge, the Larve Badge. To give his Pokémon a well deserved break, Eeveelution decided to head up to Lakeside, rather than to the next gym. As soon as he found a nice spot, he released his six Pokémon. These included “Char”, a Charmander, “Dash”, a shiny Ponyta, “Sparx”, a shiny Shinx, “Fluffy”, a shiny Swablu, and, of course, the two shiny Ralts, “Dreamer” and “Dreamy”. Being fire – type, both Char and Dash wanted to stay a bit away from the water, so Eeveelution set up a picnic area where the grass meets the sand. After eating, the Ralts wanted to splash in the shallow part of the water. Although he could see them from his spot, Eeveelution kindly asked Fluffy if he would go with them to make sure nothing bad happened.
With a nice breeze blowing, Eeveelution got lost in the moment. Out of nowhere, a big “pop” and the sudden shriek of a bird filled the air. Eeveelution knew immediately that it was Fluffy. After quickly returning his fire-Pokémon inside their Pokéballs, he and Sparx ran across to where the other Pokémon had gone. He spotted a pair of individuals dressed in black outfits with a fish-like symbol on their chests. In one of their hands held a net containing Fluffy, Dreamy, and Dreamer.
“Hey, you can’t take my Pokémon!” shouted Eeveelution.
“Hahaha, I knew it….,” cackled the female minion, “newbie trainers are always around these parts. None of these Pokémon are even evolved.”
“Team Alpha now owns these rare Pokémon,” proclaimed the other minion in his deep voice. “These will be great since shiny Pokémon are typically stronger than their counterparts.”
Eeveelution didn’t know what to do. He was not strong enough to confront these adults by himself. His thoughts turned to his Pokémon, but he knew that his fire Pokémon would be weakened by the water. Sparx was his only hope, but his electric attacks would shock everyone on the edge of the
water. Plus, if they really noticed Shinx, they might want to capture him too. To be continued…
Team Alpha turned to leave with the Pokémon, but was confronted by a tall, proud man with a spunky girl by his side.
“Leafeon, you know what to do.”
Leafeon jumped into action sending a few spinning leaves to cut the net. The net tore apart and Fluffy, Dreamer, and Dreamy raced back towards Eeveelution.
“UGH! UnknownGod again!” whined the male minion. “Why do you keep getting in our way?”
“We got some new ghost Pokémon that are gonna teach you a lesson,” cheered the female minion. With that, they tossed out a Banette and Dusclops.
“Hey MLo, should we try out that new attack that we taught Vaporeon?” UnknownGod asked his spunky partner.
“Good idea, UG,” responded Maria Lopez.
By this time, Eeveelution had walked over to the pair.
“Do you mind if I join this double battle?” inquired Eeveelution. “I think I got a move that can help out. They can’t get away with what they did.”
“Feel free,” uttered UG in a casual manner.
With that, Eeveelution invited Fluffy to join the battle while MLo tossed out her Vaporeon. Vaporeon heaved out a dark ball. Fluffy used his astonish attack. The ghost Pokémon never stood a chance. Banette was taken out right away by the shadow ball. Although Dusclops was just fazed by the Astonish attack, Fluffy finished it off with a powerful Dragon Pulse. As soon as Dusclops hit the ground, Fluffy chirped excitedly and began to glow an even more astonishing gold.
“Ah, I think it is evolving,” MLo proclaimed happily.
Fluffy looked like it was being stretched. It grew a long neck and legs. It even sprouted some bigger tail feathers. Fluffy was now an Altaria!
The two Alpha minions used this distraction to slip away. They hopped on their boat and speed off without much to say.
MLo was entranced by this new beautiful creature.
“Here, let Leafeon teach your Ralts a really good attack.” UG stated in his mature manner. “With this attack, getting out of the nets shouldn’t be a problem.” Leafeon walked over and showed the two Ralts how to move leaves with their Psychic powers. They kept practicing until they were confident they could use the move Magical Leaf.
“Would you like to stay for lunch?” Eeveelution inquired to UG.
“Nah, I’ve got things to do…” shrugged UG. With that, he returned his Leafeon. “Make sure you stay closer to your Pokémon next time. This team is on the rise.”
He turned and started walking down the path. When he almost reached Route 503, MLo realized that UG was gone.
“HEY!!!! Wait up UG!”

As soon as Eeveelution returned to Treebranch Town, he headed to the Pokémon Center to find a phone to check in at home near Memorial City. Eeveelution’s family owned a Mareep Ranch where they collected the wool from their Mareep to make very comfortable clothes, blankets, you name it. It was the reason that Eeveelution just loved enjoying a nice beautiful day. The fields themselves were a sight to see on a nice spring day.
“Hello, mom?” Eeveelution questioned as the other end of the line was picked up. It was always hectic at the ranch, and with Eeveelution out on his quest, his mom and sister had to pick up his portion.
“Hello, dear,” his mother answered looking frazzled. “I’m sorry if I am not focused completely on you, your sister just doesn’t know what she is doing. Do you think you could come home as soon as possible?”
“Yeah, I’m not far,” Eeveelution said worriedly. “Has something bad happened that you want me home so soon?”
Eeveelution’s mom was about to answer when something went CLANG in the background. “Gotta go, dear. Please hurry!”
Eeveelution hung up the phone. It seemed he needed to get home and fast. He knew exactly which Pokémon could do it.
“Let’s go, Dash!” Out came Eeveelution’s Ponyta with a beautiful blue mane. Eeveelution climbed on board and off they raced to Rote 502.
As soon as he entered the route, two familiar minions stood in his way on the path.
“Not now…”

RECAP: Eeveelution called home after relaxing at Lakeside. His mother seemed to need him at home
and fast. Eeveelution jumped on his Ponyta, but as soon as he reached Route 502, he was confronted by two familiar figures.
Eeveelution pulled on the reins to stop Dash.
“Well, look who it is,” cackled the female minion. “and this time you don’t have that annoying man to protect you.”
“Could we just skip the talk?” Eeveelution blurted out. “I really don’t have time to waste here.” “Sure, we can let you be on your way,” smirked the male minion, “if you give us one of your shiny Pokémon as payment.”
“Well, that’s not going to happen,” Eeveelution stated flatly. “But, since I am in a hurry, how about this? We will have a one-on-one battle with my Ponyta here. If I win, you let me pass.”
“And if we win?” questioned the female minion.
“I will hand over one of my shiny Pokémon,” responded Eeveelution. “As an added bonus, I won’t even give my Ponyta here any commands verbally. So, what do you say?”
The two minions had to talk it over.
“We could beat his Ponyta easy,” the male minion whispered. “Our evolved Pokémon would be stronger. In addition, since we know he is using Ponyta, we could pick a Pokémon that is strong against it.”
“Alright, we have a deal,” the female minion shouted at Eeveelution. “For our Pokémon, we choose Poliwrath!”
Poliwrath came flying out off his pokéball. When his feet hit the ground, he was showing off his muscles. Dash was not impressed. Eeveelution whispered something into its ear and hopped off her back. He knew that Dash had a sassy nature and really liked to do her own thing. He would usually just give Dash some suggestions and then guide her a bit if the battle was going bad. Dash really appreciated that her trainer could understand her and not treat her like she was his to command. Dash trotted into battle.
“Alright Poliwrath, use your Bubblebeam!” the male minion commanded. Poliwrath put up both fists, which began to glow, and bubbles came shooting out. Dash just turned to the side and started running a big circle around Poliwrath. Poliwrath turned to chase after it with the Bubblebeam, but Dash was just too fast for the bubbles to hit it. Soon Dash turned and headed directly for Poliwrath.
“It is going to tackle you. Now it is perfect for a direct Water Gun,” directed the male minion. “One hit and Ponyta is finished!”
Poliwrath turned toward Dash and Eeveelution almost blurted out a command. Luckily, he caught himself and remembered that he had to trust Dash and believe that she remembered her training. Fortunately, she did. As soon as Poliwrath squirted out his Water Gun from his belly, Dash used its Bounce to leap over Poliwrath. Both Poliwrath and Team Alpha was surprised. Eeveelution breathed deeply as he knew the battle was almost over. Once Dash got to the other side of Poliwrath, its used its hind legs and back-kicked Poliwrath with its Stomp attack. Poliwrath flew a few feet and landed
knocked out. Team Alpha just stood there astonished.
Once they came to their senses, they realized they lost and were not pleased.
“Now,” Eeveelution said as he walked back over to Dash, “it seems that I will be on my way.”
“Not so fast,” exclaimed the female minion. “If you thought we were going to play by the rules, you don’t know Team Alpha.” She then reached for her pokéballs.
Dash was not pleased at all by this. She reared on her hind legs and shot a ring of blue fire around Team Alpha. This even surprised Eeveelution a bit.
“You really shouldn’t have done that,” Eeveelution chided Dash as he hopped on its back. “However, it is really effective in letting us be on our way, so I won’t stay mad. Let’s go.” Eeveelution pulled on the reins and trotted off. He wasn’t too worried about the fire around Team Alpha. He knew that Dash had great control over the fire it produces and that it would burn out in a minute or two without causing a big grass fire. If you didn’t know, the flames that Pokémon produce are way more magical than usual. If the Pokémon is connected with its fire, it can decide when it wants it to burn or just appear like fire. That is why Eeveelution can hop onto Dash’s back without fear of being burned by its mane.
Soon, Eeveelution arrived at his home, the ranch. Things looked hectic as usual. Eeveelution jumped off Dash and rushed in the house to find out what the emergency his mom called about could be.
