How do i increase the amount of people present in battles in world gen? I talking about 800+ soldiers battles here with high death count.

I was under the impression that the #1 contributing factor to armies was population size.
That can be tweaked in a number of ways. Raise birthrates, lower the age of fertility, increase the natural lifespan.
Making the creature bigger and nastier will mean that fewer get killed off in WorldGen, with the side effect of making them tougher in Fortress Mode as well! Course, overdo this and they'll start mulching the competition and wrecking the overall balance, so be careful.
Using any pet race, like the Elves, also means that your entity can get animal reinforcements - seen battles in which one side turned up with things like 10 elves and 100 bears.

Wouldn't adding more positions with [MILITARY_STRATEGY] cause there to be more nobles piling into the battle?
