In the show the game was based on, Watari was the detective L's butler; I cast him (thereby, you) in the doctor's role. But that's beside the point.

Everybody: If you had the gun, would you play democratically or shoot based on your hunches, regardless of what everybody else thought?

Everyone, when does claiming help the town? Are you willing to claim instantly?
I dunno. I never claim instantly, though.
...Tawarochir... I have never played mafia with you before, what is your experience with mafia/werewolf/town of salem/whatever people call it these days?
I've played in two games, one BM and BYOP, and ran an unfortunately rather sedentary Death Note-themed bastard game...
Roo he's always scum.
Roo is always shifty.
...in which Roo was Watari, a town player, albeit he had some issues with connectivity and never got around to playing.

So, if I might... "Objection! The witness's statement contains a clear contradiction!", I think Wright puts it? You two are mighty quick to jump to conclusions. Eager to find somebody to peg it on?
It was a joke as he has been scum in 2 out of 3 games I've played with him.

Anyway on a more serious note Moonlit why did you feel the need to jump on the band wagon.

moonlit shadow

Serious vote
Unvote Fillipk

roo.

You need a reason to vote somebody seriously. This is a serious vote too, and my reason is that you didn't give a reason.

this isn't mafia osg I know it looks like mafia, but the object to to find town players with good town reads and give them a gun to shoot someone.

Also are you saying my reason for voting moonlit wasn't appwrent? Or that You're scolding me for not including a reason? Or that your reason for voting is as serious as my reason? It is very ambiguous. If you would both clarify and rephrase your post that would help me immensely in determing how full of shitnyou are. Kappa keepo.

Oh yeah, I thought this was Deus Asmoth's game. Sooo, Unvote I guess...

roo, Should the person who gets the gun be the most townie, or someone in the middle so that overly-zealous scum won't get it?

Popcorn mafia isnintersting inso far thet the lynching mechanic is different. Usually there is no np whereas scum have their own daytlak chat to coordinate.

Optimal strategy is what you're asking about tho. I have never played this variation before so I'm not sure. Several okay options we can all agree on a lynch and give the gun to someone who will aimply carry out what the town decides. Or we can all make town cases on people and have others simply do what they do naturally and have an organic town read that is given the gun. I dislike discussing theory tho. So I may or may not shut up.

Also if you could clarify your post. I couldn't tell if it was a joke post, mine wasn't.

Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but whoever gets the most votes gets the gun, not lynched, right? If so, I think some of the votes, both joking and serious, might not be who you want to vote for.

I'm not sure who to vote to have the gun at this point, but I certainly don't think we should give it to Moonlight Shadow, given how quickly they were willing to (evidently non-jokingly) try to vote Roo to death.

Also, re: experience. I've played Town of Salem extensively, but this is my first true Mafia game.
