Trade Depots, a short story
« on: January 25, 2008, 06:05:00 pm »

Today I needed to move my trade depot. So I set it to be removed.  There were some elves at the trade depot at the time.  And I think my dwarf who was removing it scared off the elves.  They were so scared of the trade depot being taken down they left all their wooden earrings and crap.  Now I have all the items the elves brought to trade.

tl;dr
removing your trade depot while the traders are there you get the items for free.

And you don't really get the items for free... The elven traders would eventually get mad at you just like if you had stolen everything... But it seems like elves are even more pansy than used to be in the last versions...  :p

Indeed, this is the equivalent of seizing their goods. They should eventually get mad at you if you do this often.
