Can I be a woodcutter?
I'm enjoying this, so far. Could I be humaned as Rupdeus?

Done and done. We have:

The amusingly named "Taupe Beachspicy"
-and-
The subtly named "Rupdeus Quillwaxed", Expert Mason.

We just got a migrant wave of 23. We are wholly unable to support our current population in terms of housing, and will need to radically restructure the town layout. Also, both of the new humans juicy personal details will be posted in the OP thread tomorrow.

please name the newest born baby male "Timeless Bob".  Little "Timeless" will be the Chosen One of which ever deity the RNG picks as his most favored one.  Of course, he has to survive first which might be an interesting challenge.  It will be interesting to grow a hero from scratch, as it were.

Her Imperial Communist Majesty approves, this must be done.

TIMELESS BOB DESSERTWINKLED was the first baby born in BLAZECOOK!!! Interestingly he worships three different gods.

Now the question is which god little Timeless is chosen of:

A fair and balanced choice between the lot, obviously.

!!!UPDATE!!!

I tabbed back in to this oh god. Time for LadyBrassroast to show her quality.

Spoiler: VILE FORCE OF DARKNESS (click to show/hide)

Apparently, some of the militia are charging in both fully naked and crying, with a rope reed as an off-hand weapon. This is going to be great. I'm not sure why it says this is a hammerman, since their spear skill is noticeably higher.

Spoiler: Hail, Sir Rope Reed (click to show/hide)

I've decided this is a terrible idea after all, and will be raising the drawbridges instead.

I'm a little sad. We massed every member of the militia with every single war dog, and ended up with the goblins getting bored and leaving right before everyone sallied forth.

Welp, no one died. B+

For my special request, I'd like the most badass fort logically possible. Like a crazy-ass mashup of every badass fort from fantasy lit/film/RPGS ever.

Definitely going to do that.

Also, I have been equipping the militia with two handed weapons, because clearly a great axe is better than a regular axe because it is great. In retrospect, this logic may be absurd. What are the benefits of two handed weaponry? Could it possibly outweigh a shield?

See, you say that, but we have no found any viable edged-weaponry ore. No tin or iron.

This might be a blunt weapon fort. We can make mauls, though.

One might want to consider a trap-heavy defense in that case. Blunt weapons for backup, sure, but mostly cage traps and unconventional weapons.

Ah, but that is one of the rules for BLAZECOOKS. There will be no trap-based city defense only in sensitive areas. I might set up some cage traps out in the surrounding area to catch things, but this is an army based fort.

Also, does anyone know what the complaint for "lack of decent meals lately" is about? Do these guys get a bad thought from not having biscuits and roasts??? Because the sheer vegetable variety in BLAZECOOKS is absurd, they have a dozen or so different kinds of food.

Well, what do you have in the Ore Department? Silver is perfectly adequate for blunt weapons, but you'd need to import mass quantities of other metals for armor. Leather armor is about equivalent to wet tissue paper at keeping out gobbo axes. Keep looking though, I once only found casserite near the second cavern layer.

One of the possible needs is to eat high-quality food, I'm afraid. You may need to make roasts and the like.

The fruits may be fresh, but eating nothing but ''a vegetable'' for a meal every single day. You may want to cook them into prepared meals, aka salads.
