@Above: Renegade Mastermaker fits that perfectly. It explicitly gets a cool gauntlet, and is intended for Artificers (I think).

I think I can make the Void Disciple either a cleric or a wizard.

Making it a wizard has the advantage of a better spell list, tons of skill points, cool ACFs, and a little bit of spontaneous casting through feats, but needs to visit a Metamagic Storm or be a level behind in Binder Level, and can't cast well in normal armor without feats.

Making it a Cleric has the advantage of getting Domains (which are really good), needing no spell book, and access to Divine Metamagic, which turns the build into a metamagic reducer abuser as well. However, its magical powers are stripped away if it loses favor with Naberius (the wizard build can still do well without Naberius' s support), it might get persecuted by other churches, and it doesn't get a familiar.

So the ideas currently are a binder - wizard/binder-cleric or a druid, right?

Renegade Mastermaker is kind of meh- it turns you (slowly, over ten levels) into a race that you could have just played from the start (Warforged) and makes you lose two caster levels.

I think, since this is going to be a solo adventure, we should do a sorcerer/swordsman hybrid. They used to be called Spellswords, but now i got no idea.

Closest thing is an Eldritch Knight, but a Warlock could work.

Is it too late to suggest Cavalier 1/Bard 5/Battle Herald 1/Low Templar 1/Battle Herald 9/Bard X, with feat choices of Nature Soul, Squire, Animal Ally, Imperial Knight, Leadership?

Added to the poll. From which books are Low Templar and Battle Herald, so I can find them (Most of the books I own are in Spanish, so the names of those classes say nothing to me, sorry :P)

Cavalier is a Prestige Class in 3.5. I'm not sure of any way to get a +8 BAB without any class levels but I'd love to hear that exploit. :P
