Daku Baku examined his surroundings inquisitively, towering above all the other tribals, he decides to approach the strange beings that have intruded upon his lands. They seemed small, frail and weak, and wore funny clothing, their belongings were also very strange. The man approached each party member in turn, staring into their eyes as if trying to read them.

Martijn flinches back from the face thrust towards him, his face showing his discomfort.

In contrast, Jehane leans slightly forward, reptilian eyes locking with the massive stranger's. She refuses to blink first.

As Arioch examines the giant from top to bottom, sweat beads start forming on his forehead. Finally he turns to the elders.

"Um... This is too great a gift for us to accept. He seems to be used to you. Please, keep him."

A fierce eye contest begins to form between Arioch and Borg.

The towering man lets out a chuckle as he takes in the reactions of all but Jehane. His mouth turns to a predatory smirk, as he leans in close, continuing his stare into her eyes. Something different seemed about him, a focus of sorts, and his eyes for a second seemed to gain a reddish tint. Daku may have lost most of his mind, but seeing the courage the small one displayed seemed to gain his liking and approval.

Jehane remembers the eyes of Ouroboros, earlier in the day, and her breathing slows to nearly nothing. She focuses on projecting the same sense of ageless, reptilian malice. As Daku Baku continues to stare into her eyes, the black slits seem to get larger... And larger...

((It's pretty harmless, but Jehane wants to win this staredown pretty badly.

Besides, it's one of the few times this trait ability is going to have a chance to come up, I figured I might as well seize it.))

The tribal's smile grows even bigger, as he continues to stare into Jehane's eyes, his mind having warded off the magical attack attempt. He was not intimidated by reptiles, after all he had been on the receiving end of hellish magicks in the past. His eyes blood red, and the stare just goes on.

Jehane continues the staredown, as unblinking as the tribal warrior in front of her. Neither ine appears willing to budge at this point.

((Opposing Intimidate checks to see who blinks first? Otherwise, we'll be at this for a while.))

(I was kinda hoping that someone else would interfere so that we don't have to compromise on badassery :P)

Martijn shoves Arioch so that he jostles Jehane, then tries to look surprised at Arioch's "trip."

Let's see if he can pull it off with no one knowing it was him!
