How do we deal with the wererats?

Scare them into the deeper parts and cave in parts of the cavern, sealing them in
Take out their leaders and try to convince them to surrender
Slaughter them all
Ignore them and look elsewhere

Jehane helps sort through the bag of gathered plants, coming up with:

7x of the four-leafed plants (clover?)
2x creeping charlires
1x dandelion

and with the new additions, plenty of the reddish-green plant and lavender.

Jehane wipes her running nose as she eyes the plants and the list.

"It looks like we could do with more dandelions, and keeping an eye out for Devil's Grass and that water grass. Also, someone who's not sick try to remember how we got here, as we can always direct the alchemists back to where we found the places with large quantities of plants."

Arioch makes an exaggerated O face with his mouth, eyes widened.

"You mean the big snake we killed isn't mark enough? Heh, just kidding, you got it."

Before he continues searching, Martijn eyes Jehane critically.

You seem to be taking this badly. I feel...weaker, but not mentally impaired. Do you want to return to camp? You definitely look like you need a rest.

Jehane gives Martijn a steady look "I'm glad you're taking it better. I can't decide if the parts where I'm freezing or burning up are worse, mh nose is dripping, and my skull is a size too small. I'm not mentally impaired, I'm sick, tired and annoyed at the world. I want to find the plants for a cure, get the bears and wolves to play nice, and find a wererat that I can beat like a street urchin with what will be a very large sword when I show them he new trick Iomedae saw fit to shove in my head."

"Hmph. Why beat street urchins when for a few copper pieces they will advertise your store for you?"

Continue to assist in the searching, using that handy list as a guide for what to look for.

(?) You wander as a group deeper into the woods, but you don't find the plants you're looking for that are unaccounted for on the list in the woods. Varg suggests looking around the river for the gold looking plant or where dams might be

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

"Any giant beavers we should be wary of, Varg? At this point I think anything's possible."

Look around the river as Varg suggested.

Varg gives a chuckle.

"I hope not. I've never seen one if that will calm your nerves."

The closest way to the river is going back to the ship or towards he swamp and following it up

((Is this a farm some exp at the swamp vs avoid combat choice? If it is we should probably take a vote. Surprisingly I do want a bit more exp (I imagine it's the quicker way too)))

((Swamp it is then))

The party decides to hoof it to the swamp. (?) ((oh dear god... May the dice gods have mercy on your souls))

The party hears more hissing, but MUCH louder. Varg stops, paralyzed by fear as you all turn to face an even larger snake, one that is white and more menacing in stature as it rises. Its MUCH bigger than the snake you last fought, standing 30ft tall above you with plenty of snake trailing behind him.

The King of the Wood, Ouroboros stands before you!

Martijn begins the battle! Varg is speechless and pale.

((Calm yourselves. This is a big snake with a lot of surface area. I think it'll fry very well. We needn't even come close. That said, it's a great idea to feed it summons instead of, you know, us.))
