The swarm moves closer but it takes longer as it is being slowed by the bramble

You light the grease on fire.

It ignites almost immediately and you hear the rush of fire as the grease catches and the flames completely engulf the swarm of rats and the bramble catches. The swarm of rats burn, screeching as the grease and bramble burn them. They take (6+5+1) fire damage and burn up. The burning bramble spreads quickly, though the dire rats are not effected by it.

Both swarms die and the small remaining rats try to flee but burn.

Mauricio stands next to the flaming bramble and fires at the dire rats with his bow. (14+3) His arrow hits DR7 and deals (5+1) damage, killing the dire rat.

Guards start to form up. Smoke starts to enter the cave and some head towards the exit.

Martijn begins his turn. You see the flames stop at the bramble but continue to head towards the entrance. Ewan shouts as the flame roars through the cave.

"Good idea, Arioch! Careful that we don't smoke ourselves out of the cave!"

Blinking at the sudden out burst of flame, Martijn waits for his eyes to adjust before throwing a dagger at the nearest Direrat. If he needs to move forward to do so, he does.

Mauricio holds his hand up.

The smoke and flames are intense, but you can see some rats on the other side of the tall flames. You throw a dagger at D2 (13+4) your dagger strikes him, dealing (1+2) damage. The rat is still alive, but doesn't make a sound as it suffocates.

Kylie moves up and fires an arrow. Her arrow strikes DR8, and the arrow kills it.

DR2 continues to choke as it is unable to move.

DR6 tries to break free and does so, scurrying out of the cave!
