((I agree, first get whatever local tribes are going to play nice with us working together, and then we can worry about trade. Not like we have a lot to produce yet.))
James frowns as he puzzles his way through the note, stymied by the atrocious handwriting "Well, that explains why they aren't steering away from the cliffs, but it's good to know that they don't have a death wish. What do you two think, do we have enough time to get a crew to the ship and get it into the water before the tide takes them into the rocks?"
"Perhaps if we ask some of the others to aid us, we could rescue them. I know they're probably sick of the ocean, but given how close they are, we could do it quickly.
The problem I see is how we plan to get them back. They have no sails and no oars. We could give them oars from the second boat, or we could try and maneuver the ship towards safer land with rope. Given they have wounded, it may be a good idea to have us climb aboard and start administering aid. As I have heard from James, I too can cast some divine magic to heal them. However, it may be difficult to move from ship to ship with your armor, James. Even if Vethr helped you cross, you risk sinking into the sea. From what it sounds like, they may need us right away.
We don't have much time. Lets get a ship into the water and figure it out from there. Vethr can help Mauricio down, but James might be too heavy."Kylie runs towards the cliff's edge and jumps, Vethr grasping her arms and gliding her down, her form with her Roc makes her look like an angel.
((Yeah, now isn't the time to discuss trade matters.))
((Nothing to say. Diplomacy isn't Martijn's thing - he came along for the ride.))
Borg's wife finishes cooking and you have a rather decent meal of venison. Ewan idly chats with Borg and Bjern about themselves, and a few stories about Borg's youth.
According to Borg, Bjern has a special power that allows him to manipulate the the ground. When it first manifested ten years ago, he collapsed a cave and breathed in a lot of dust, which gave him a lot of breathing problems. He never fully expelled the dust from his system, which is why he snorts like a sick moose and spits black stuff. Borg also warns you of other dangers that are in the area, such as lizardmen, orcs, kobolds, and of course, wild animals and their giant relatives.
As time goes on, you part ways and head back to the Red-Moon village. By now, the sun is getting closer to sunset.
As you return, you see Varg sparring with a werewolf in hybrid form, both using their bare hands as they try to pin one another. After he pins the wolf by having his teeth barred against his clansmen's throat, he gets up and waves you down.
Ulf also spots you and walks towards you.
"I pray that the meeting went well?"
