Tessele gives a quiet snort of humor at Dench's fate and, rubbing her hands together for warmth, says "Let me go first, and I'll help you up."
Tessele scales the wall, and lowers down a rope for Dench to climb up.

Tessele scales the wall with only a little difficulty.

Tessele has been climbing over the rigging her entire life-this isn't much different-at least it's not swaying around in the wind and threatening to send her flying. She ascends to top carefully, and lowers her rope, anchoring the hook into a handy balustrade.

Climbing via the rope, is an auto-pass

Tessele searches the roof for another entrance, or any sort of opening.

Tessele finds a sort of brick chimney in one corner of the building-no smoke is rising from it, and she hears no voices from below. She could just fit down it, though it would be sort of tight.

There is also a hatch in the center of the building, that would lead to a stairwell, but it's got a heavy padlock over it-picking it would be a tough job. These guys sure take security seriously.

Dench mutters something halfway between a curse and a statement of gratitude in Orcish, rubs his back, and scampers up the rope after the elf.

...Upon surveying the scene, the half-orc nods in agreement. He was liking this warehouse less and less, by the second. Wordlessly he slides down the rope, and approaches the others. "There is a less sturdy looking door on the east wall, but there are voices and light just on the other side. Also a hatch with a heavy lock on the roof, and another door like this on the opposite side. These people are prepared for an intrusion."

"I can't believe I'm suggesting this... There's also a chimney on the roof. A few of us could slip in and open the door for the rest. It's a tight squeeze; I figure that only Blakely, Brightwood and I can fit. It's not a good plan, but if we want to go in quietly, it's our only option."

Dench scowls, and speaks bluntly as he is wont to do. "If somebody catches you trying to squirm your way out of the fireplace, one at a time, you are dead."

"It's freezing out," Tessele says, gesturing at the dark sky. "If anyone was near the fireplace, it would be lit. They're not watching the fireplace; they'll be watching the doors. You said it yourself; they're ready for us."

"Going down chimney will not be graceful or quiet. They wont have to be watching fireplace to catch you, just nearby."

Dench pauses for a second, and his yellow eyes widen as an idea pops into his head. "Perhaps one of us makes commotion at this door, to draw guards, while the rest go down chimney or force the South Door. Thoven, you say picking lock is not subtle, yes? Perhaps that can lure them all to one entrance."

"If we're going for a lack of subtlety I'd suggest making it appear as though we're trying to force our way in by tearing the door down, in all honesty. They'd all be more likely to hear it and it might even draw those by the, easier to brute force, east door. I lack the tools to go lockpicking anyway, a shortsight on my part. Anyway, we could have someone watching the east door and, should the guards leave, they could signal our deconstructor(s) who would then join them at the door and force their way in. All the while those able to enter through the chimney do so."

He made a point to look at each of the Kolos Guards before asking their opinion of his plan. In the end it was their call.

"What do you all think of that?"

Dench pauses in thought for a moment before speaking. "Good enough plan, although I still think stakeout to jump and interrogate a criminal would also work. We are here for information, which is likely in the people, who have to leave the warehouse at some point. Slaughtering all the smugglers would be fun bonus, and good for city, but perhaps not worth walking into trap when we could be setting one."

-snip-
"I mislike the idea of going in loud; these are smugglers, they might have any number of escape routes. If we do go loud, I say we do it hard and fast; don't give them a chance to escape. The locked north and south doors give us an advantage, making it harder for them to flee."
-snip-
Tessele glared at Dench. And there he went, ditching the respect he had earned from her just moments ago.
"We're not killing anyone. End of discussion. But you have a point, we should stake the place out. We don't know enough to break down the door and storm the place."

Keiran nods.

"No one dies who doesn't have to."

"But yes, I agree with Tessele. Subtle or fast are our options here, and I much prefer subtle."

"I say we stake the place out; two watching each door?"
