"Ready to go." Cirila says, grabbing the maul strapped to her back.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

A massive bolt of thunder ominously cracks the sky at Cirila's words, rattling windows all over Kolos. A heavy mix of snow, rain and ice begins to fall in torrents a breathless moment afterwards. The storm has finally arrived...

((OOC: Oops, no more waiting for WS, he's been inactive for more than a week...

Btw, what door are you guys entering into, anyway? There's three of them-at least one would be a loading door, and the other two front and back doors.))

Tessele was intending to head through the loading door.

The group heads towards the loading door... with it being locked, they decide to kick it open!

The three strongest of the group take turns at trying to force the heavy door open...

Cirila kicks at it, but practically bounces off the solid wood. At the thud, a squawk of alarm comes from the inside!
Tessele causes the hinges to groan alarmingly, but the door holds.
Finally, Tirion has a go, and at the application of his mighty boot the lock bolt snaps!

You can see a large room filled with heavy boxes and shelves. On many of them, dingy glass bottles contain tiny figures, who are staring at the door in surprise. Fae... their innate magic means their parts are in demand with the less ethical of magicians... some of them cry out for help with tiny voices.

Against the wall to your right is a series of tables, where eight burly men were sitting. In the process of grabbing weapons and rising to their feet, they gawp at the sudden intrusion.

One of the more bolder bandits seems to have a predictable response. Grubby, scarred, and tattooed-with a large cloth strap covering one eye, zigzag purple and orange lines can be seen in his face-the marks of a man who's caught Malig, a painful and fatal blood disease-perhaps from the same wound that took his eye.

He swaggers to the front-his bravado built on great and terrible fear, the knowledge that he will die raging, and the hope that death will be something of a relief. A man with nothing to lose.

"...Ey, sod off, pretty boy! If you know what we were doing, you'd be running in the wind. I bet a quarter cop you and your bully boys ran into that girl of ours, and followed her here, you idiots...probably cut Mels throat, and left her for the rats and dogs! And, she didn't do nothin' worse than pull a bad shift on a bad night! Always hassling the common man! Damn, I knew she wasn't coming back...

We're not gonna let you kill us too! We'd rather die fighting fellow men in any case...then, falling prey to that thing up there! Right, boys?"

Some of the men (and a few of the women) seem to take this little speech with vigor, rousing themselves up to seriously resist arrest.

"A bad joke. No one can deal with something like that...Hell, It's better if you're unconscious, for what he'll do to you. So why don't you surrender? I promise we'll be nice!"

The bandits seem disinclined to surrender when they have such a numerical advantage, and are about to charge...

Tessele stomps in to H7, switching her hammer to her off hand while she draws and throws a javelin at Bandit A.

Ayre moves to C6, flicking a wrist and launching an eldritch bolt at A, before continuing to D4.
