It does not require much to have me wanting to play the next version :
- fortress mode invaders and ambushers armies finally fixed and actually come to siege more than once every 10 years despite your fort is right next to their dark fortress and your population ready since years
- fortress mode invaders and ambushers gain skills through the years so you can have an actual challenge during those super rare siege instead of the dozen of untrained gob that your legendary military (legendary and high masters that you can get in less than 2 years of -nonexploit- training) destroy easily without breaking a sweat.
- performance , performance and performance, pathfinding cease to break and cripple the game performance if some dwarf move into an area or climb on something it has no idea on how to come back by example
- adventure mode bandits and other hostile factions gain back their former glory and threat level and aren't anymore the ridiculous push-overs they are in df2014, it was such a great experience in 34.11 to adventure into a bandit camp.
- adventure mode factions that are set hostile to each other are back at being actually -hostile- instead of everyone is best friend forever from df2014 adventure mode or "it was inevitable".
- adventure mode NPC will fight back again when you're attacking them, no more killing hundred of gobs and trolls in dark fortress by yourself without having any of those monsters even trying to get you even when you're destroying their best friend in their sight.
- undead aren't overpowered silly anymore so you can actually fight undead siege instead of just waiting for them to go away in your fortress or get buggy and stay immobile forever or play the "let's trap everyone" minigame that isn't really a challenge and break the army AI.
If those part of the next version, i would be super hyped. But for now i'm only hopeful it will be less broken than df2014 and get some more fun again to me like i have when playing 34.11.
