I've had the ground explode in a burst of loam on a previous version. Was strange.

You would retire the fortress anyway. The demons are too powerful for most players.

So if everything fell, does that mean that there are HUGE cliffs surrounding the region? Could wagons possibly not be able to enter? Could it possibly be a massive world event? Maybe the continent is slowly filling up with water. That would be cool.

On the flip side, since you can virtually see everything now, you can efficiently mine, not having to waste time searching for ore veins.

No, most of my population was underground at the time, and everything crashed down to fill in most of the the space, meaning my dwarves were all crushed except for my carpenter/woodcutter, who was thankfully defiling the elf-spaces at the time.

I'm not sure how I could find the seed that was generated, or pinpoint the location for others to try. Oh. I guess I do have a backup folder from months before....I guess I'll take a look at that and see if it reproduces.

Curiously, I just saw this exact same thing happen on a Let's Play DF video: https://youtu.be/1CfplTsy5pE?list=PLGB6RkFB7ZmNBVkW6P9UDmNazRhYMZXFw
