Are those on the desk herbs or pens/writing feathers? If the former,  take them.

No need to go full psychopath, it's an act of petty dickery, not the beginning of a life of arson and horror. -1

Thrilled as I am about our consensus on petty theft, I say we ask how far away everything is, and go to the mine to search for jaderoot (outside mine) and moon hops (inside mine) if we can get there and back in time.

We gotta figure out something to do before nightfall, and I'd rather desperately search for ingredients we probably won't find than paw around a tainted crime scene hoping to figure out how big this thing's claws are.

+1 to taking all the druids stuff that we can use, +1 to heading to the mine for Jaderoot and moon hops (lets hope that Jaderoot actually grows there). After we deal with the mine we may want to checkout the attack site on the way back.

You take the jars. Every last one of the fuckers. You now have all the jars.

wait no

The jars make a valiant attempt to escape your clutches! You spend a few minutes picking up shards of broken glass.

You do keep two of the unbroken vessels, though.

After we're through looting his house we should set it on fire so that the ashes will fertilize the soil, we are a wannabe druid after-all

-1 to hourse burning.

You briefly consider indulging in a little bit of arson, but come to the conclusion that burning down your colleague's house would be very counterproductive!

Investigate the attack site, it may be completely mundane after all.

I'll second this one. It may be a good idea to try to figure out what precisely we need to do before grabbing the means to do it.

We can do it on the way to/from the mine. Besides, cant go wrong with Jaderoot, and fining out where it grows is a good thing.

We only have a limited amount of time, and if we try to scope out jaderoot and fail then we're kind of screwed. Jaderoot gathering is something we should probably do in the morning, when we have much more time and the ability to really look outside of the town.
